My bum hurts from yesterday but I'll get used to that. Am sitting in a room full of PC's and all of them are the same...boring.

This is a rare occurrence, I'm second one on the chat thread. Been up since OH went left for work just before 8. Today is our anniversary and I will be spending most of the day on here as I have to wait in for the fridge freezer to be delivered.

In other news...I just paid another £100 off the dreaded credit card, so hopefully that will be gone very soon and I can concentrate on shifting the overdraft then saving up the £1500 I owe my Grandma.

Now we're in the house I'm hoping I'll be able to get rid of all my debt that little bit faster as we wont be going out as much and spending money that doesnt need to be spent.

Lovely sunny day here again today so I must get dressed and get on with the unpacking.

Good morning

A lovely sunny day here again today, I need to sit in and wait for my mate to come and finish the roof He had to order a special tool, plus he's been fitting my roof in inbetween his other jobs, so hopefully after today no more leaks :j

My bathroom and kitchen is drying out lovely now, so by Sat hopefully Paul (DH) can repaint kitchen ceiling white and touch up walls (we still have lots of paint left thank goodness, so one less expense and a nice kitchen again )

I've cleaned the mould from all the tiles but the grout is black still and looks unsightly , is there anything i can buy to clean up the grout? or will they have to be regrouted?

Elfen hope your bottom is better soon lol, the more you ride the bike the less your bottom will hurt

Lizzie hope the fridge freezer turns up soon, and good luck on the unpacking

Morning all - your poor bum Elfen! Well done on the debtbusting Lizzie, hope it's a good day Sammy, and hi Claire.. you can buy a sort of pen thing for whitening the grout but I'm not sure how long it lasts.

It's another sunny day here Just had my brief informal interview for my new extra job at work, nice people and I've been offered a chance at another additional role too (training other staff in IT) so rather chuffed

The delivery slot is between 12 and 4...luckily I don't actually need to go out today. Should probably get into the OldStyle habit and get a meal plan on the go, but we haven't done our first shop yet and I don't even know where to start with that...any hints on storecupboard essentials.

Claire - Focus do a grout pen, I noticed them yesterday, but I expect you could get cheaper versions in Wilkos or the like.

Red - Great news on the job front...I just ordered some OU prospectuses, really need to find some direction in my life!!

Sammy - don't work too hard.

Elfen - fasten a cushion to your bum next time you go out on the bike :P

I will be chained to the computer working again today.
I was given a contact at the council last night to get me on the list for manning polling sations etc. Will phone in a mo.
Just agreed to babysit GS for a cople of hours tonight - there goes my only night in until a week on Friday.
