Try mashed carrots, or parsnips, or even carrot & parsnip mash...should be OK as long as you peel them. Have you tried oat based cereals, such as oatibix, oat bran crispies or Jordan's oat crunch? I find these are quite good to ease my bouts of IBS. Also rice cakes have no wheat or yeast. I find plain bio natural yogurt calms it down too, tesco's healthy eating one is good & not too sharp.

Thanks floss. I reckon I'll go for carrot and swede mash I think and maybe roast a couple parsnips.

Am on oatcakes for snacks but just realised that my breakfast was fruit and fibre! Bran and dried fruit - a really good idea when suffering IBS NOT! Will have a look out for those ones that you suggested though thanks xx

Morning all......(((((((((((((((((((((.Hugs)))))))))))))))00 if you need one.....

I got sidetracked, was just about to post when my phone rang, it was the chap delivering my sewing machine cabinet, he was lost!!! had to talk him in on the phone.2010_03090001.jpg

I spent an hour or so sorting the room out again, and had to have a little try, brill. It should relieve the strain on my neck and shoulders when I am machine quilting.

Just after I had finished playing the phone rang again, Sky, at last we are getting somewhere, telephone and broadband have been ordered as a matter of urgency and on my old package, so watch this space.

OH out in the veg plot digging a bed for the fruit. I am not sure just how much of a problem the rabbits are going to be, will have to see.

Off to make soup for lunch, see y'all later,........

    Good morning everyone :)

I have been absent over the last few days due to my PC having a funny turn, this is the 1st day it has let me type so not sure how long this will last. My OH is going to reinstall it Friday.

    Hi everyone,

Moggins, good to see you again. How old is the baby?

Aussielass, glad to see you are back - it should be getting cooler for you now shouldn't it.

Floss - I love the dress, tiara and shoes, although I would never be able to walk in them.

I've had a quick tidy up and want to start filing the mountains of paperwork, I must not spend all my time on here today.

Mum is going home from hospital today, I hope my brothers help her and dad. I'll go up if my op is postponed tomorrow, I hope it isn't though.

When I'm suffering my breakfast will generally be a bowl of Jordans Oat Crunch with plain bio yogurt and some strawberries.....seems to keep me going without causing any problems. I also find that sometimes I can't tolerate much in the way of animal fat-rich foods like cream / cheese or very oily food.

    Hi everyone,

Moggins, good to see you again. How old is the baby?

Baby moggins is now 5 weeks old. He arrived 4 weeks early weighing in at 6lb 9oz. I only finished work 4 days before having him :(

I'm hoping to look for another job in the late summer, early autmn but for now am back to being a sahm and probably osing for all I'm worth to save the pennies. Life has been so hectic with DS doing his GCSE's and DD's upcoming audition for the Royal Ballet School that OS has disappeared out of the window and I had to pay for a cleaner once a week to keep the house looking presentable :(

Oooo moggins I went to the Royal when I was wee. What age is your DD? Is she auditioning for White Lodge or the Upper School?

Thanks again floss. Am fine with all things dairy - it's brassicas and fibre that cause my probs :(

Snoozer, I hope all goes well for you op, I shall be thinking of you xx

OK third coat on the walls done, ceiling and coving painted, and I have matt glossed the window sills, and the loft hatch, ( the loft hatch goes from the kitchen up into a huge walk in cupboard in our bedroom).

Will do the rest of the woodwork next week, I need to clear up now and take little dog out for a walk, she is looking at me with huge sad eyes, then I will make a start on dinner.

    Have fun all x

    Afternoon all.

Just having a time-out from Flylady tasks. I have to say, it's making it so much easier to keep the place all done.:)

Dins tonight will be veggie bangers'n'mash, followed by the 2nd half of the blueberry fool I made yesterday, which I have to say is delicious.

Floss2 thank you for sharing the pics of your wedding clothes - you'll look fantastic!:o

I had a lilac dress; and hopefully, if I can succeed with the ol' weight loss, I'll be able to wear it again to things like the opera. My sandals (silver, high-heeled and with pink, white and blue jewels on the front) get trotted out for opera-type occasions also.

My headdress I made myself - one of those clear comb thingies, with strings of lilac and pink seed beads, purple silk flowers, and an owl's feather, which was given to me by its original owner!;)

LOL I do remember the wife of one of Mr LW's pals asking if I was going to have a "meringue" - then she thought for a moment and said "Nah - you're not the meringue sort, are you?":rotfl:

Hope everyone's having a good..... er..... *checks calendar* Tuesday.

((((HUGS)))) to all who need/want one today.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
