Maybe ask at your local hairdressers.

You could try using a very mild shampoo to see if that helps, maybe one of the 'natural' ones boots do that don't have all the chemicals in?

I tried a lovely shampoo with very little in it. Left my hair lovely and soft and not lank at all. Problem was the oils in it seems to seep on to my forehead, ears and neck. I had lovely hair and a spotty mush! *sigh*

My hairdresser recommended Kerastase shampoo for oily hair. It turned my hair to straw unfortunately. :(

You could use one of those shield things you get to stop kids getting shampoo in their eyes :rotfl:

You can get like a little foam visor thingy that goes round their forehead just under their hair to stop them getting shampoo in their eyes :o It might keep the shampoo you like off your face especially if you wash it in the shower.

I have fine hair now (SOB) and used to find it was minging by the next day.

John Frieda and Pantene is what I use now (volumising) even OH said that it made his hair feel clean for a few days, and he gets a bit sweaty at work.

I know my Hairdressers hate pantene, something to do with it messing up peoples perm jobs.

Head & Shoulders, herbal essences and sunsilk were all useless on my hair. Looked like I hadn't washed it in a week, when it was about 30hours!

I find that vosene shampoo followed by herbal essences conditioner will keep my hair ok for a 2 days, then I get a skull cap too. I'm hoping to get some seah hairspa stuff from ebay as I had that at a hairdressers once and it was really good.

Herbal Essences brought me out in a rash. my skin itched for days even after washing the stuff off.

I use Boots Botanics Honey & Jojoba oil shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair, brings my limp hair up beautifully. Its cheap too.

They do ones for other hair types too which Ive been told are good. My skin reacts to absolutley everything (it even drys out with water!!) but I can use this without looking like a pizza.
