Just a thought, but how's your skin/nails generally? Maybe you're out of balance vitamin wise? I find my hair is one of the first things that go out of kilter if my diet isn't all that. (Not saying your diet is dodgy mind, just offering another thing to think about. :D)

I'm on a special diet and take lots of vitamins. My nails are really strong, I think.

In between washes or as the sole product?

some tips......rinse rinse rinse and rinse some more, for at least 10 mins
try a final rinse with vinegar

or put a colour through it, which should dry it out slighty

I know you say your hair is not greasy but I would try a shampoo for that hair type to see if it helps

In between. Using dry shampoo I could wash my hair on Monday and then get away with it till Thursday/Friday! That's from washing daily/every second day.

Just spray it in, let it sit for a little while and then brush it through. Talc also works in a pinch, since it's a 'drying' product but it's a bit easy to make yourself look grey :o Especially if you have very dark hair like me.

Yea, and it sounds obvious, but as jinky says rinse until you think you're all done... and then rinse again.

Vosene. It's like paint stripper, and before my hair got dyed it was absolutely the only shampoo that would give me shiny hair. :D Stinks though, sorry! :o

Tried it at the weekend. Made my hair worse!

perhaps the products, I'm using are too harsh?

Maybe ask at your local hairdressers.

You could try using a very mild shampoo to see if that helps, maybe one of the 'natural' ones boots do that don't have all the chemicals in?

Jinky I love Vosene too but OH hates it so when we shower together (sorry, TMI :o) He tells me I stink :rotfl: but it just reminds me of being a kid and makes me feel at home :o
