IE8 is free and on windows updates (You must have a TON of updates to come though so it will probably take some time)
SP3 is 'service pack 3' (Also free)
You have Sp1 so youll need to install sp2 then sp3 (In my experience, ive never succesfully managed to install Sp3 without the other 2 via windows updates)
Theyre SECURITY UPDATES. Without them your computer is wide open to many attacks, even so far as people taking control of your computer via a remote link. You really should have your computer up to date:idea:0
