Zebra,
you pm inbox is full...
ipconfig /release and renew, just tells your PC to drop whatever local ip address it has, and pick a new one up from the router, if you plug it in wired (blue wire), it may work anyway, but if it doesn't try the renew.
start run cmd
then ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
That should let you get to 192.168.0.1, and undo or correct the last change you made.
if it doesn't, then the only way is to hit the button on the back, and lose all the settings. then log in with default username and password
admin
password
and goto http://192.168.0.1
backup settings
restore save settings from a file
and browse to the netgear.cfg file you save on the pc.
then do the changes one step at a time, and saved to a different netgear1.cfg netgear2.cfg each time you make a change, so that you can go back easily.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

I also had this problem, after 2 hours on the phone to talk talk they said that my computer is faulty! although it worked fine without the modem being plugged in.
I borrowed a modem from a friend who had talk talk and it worked fine so it was just a faulty modem. Although Talk talk still refuse to accept that the original one was faulty0
