Three weeks tomorrow! Brought my dress home today - love it! Having make up dilemmas though - can't find a foundation or primer/foundation combi that is both moisturising and doesn't cover too thickly.

Have you tried mineral foundation? My friend who's doing my makeup used them for my trial- she said they are very good for your skin. It looked really nice and covered the blemished parts of my skin nicely but didn't look to heavy.

I had a look the other day for some because I thought I might get some for everyday use. I haven't got any yet but I did see some good ones in the L'Oreal range, they also do a primer to go with it. It's 3 for 2 in Superdrug at the moment - might be worth a look?

Oh - I've actually got some mineral foundation I picked up in the Jan sales but never tried... I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Good luck March brides!! Hope you don't mind - I popped on to have a nosy to see what it'll be like for me in a month's time!
sunshine - we got debenhams wedding insurance for about £30 + cashback. I'm not sure it's really necessary, but I guess we'd have kicked ourselves if something had gone wrong

Flowerpower, how did you get it for just £30 and where did you go to get the cashback?

We got the lowest level of Debenhams wedding insurance, and got Quidco cashback. Looks like prices have changed - now £39 + £15 cashback. Not sure if it's the best insurance, but seemed ok for us

OMG! Two weeks tomorrow! Eeeeeek! :j

I made my table plan on sunday - it took me ages but I am very happy with it :D

Wrapped all the presents for the bridal party last night - had lots of left over ribbon so they look pretty :p

Just got to write out the place names which I keep putting off because I'm worried my handwriting will spoil them! :o

H2B is paying the venue today so that makes it seem more real!

We are having our hen and stag this weekend - sooooo looking forward to spending the weekend with the girlies! :j

Got to go back to our hometown next weekend to take all the stuff for the wedding as there won't be any room when we go down just before as we only have a little car and our honeymoon suitcases will take up most of the room! :p

Got my final dress fitting a week tomorrow- been trying to be very good and keep an eye on my weight - I lost 9lbs between being measured and having my fitting last time. I'm now at the weight I want to be and my dress maker has begged me not to lose anymore weight as she may not have time to take the dress in anymore! That's fine by me, if my weight goes down then I will just have to eat some cake and chocolate! ;)

Anyway, to all of you who have had your big day, I hope it went well and you had a fab time!

seafarers_wife (and anyone else I've missed -sorry!) Hope you have a fab day on Saturday!
