Wooohoooo - the dress fit!!!
Tried it yesterday and it is perfect - as though it had been made for me!!!
Still keen to lose a bit more weight, and praying it will come from my hips, not my top, as then dress will need altering!
Anyway, going to get shoes and accessories next weekend. So excited!!!0 -

:j Yay!
I get to try mine on in two weeks, but it is being made to fit me. Although I have been on a diet because my dress is quite tight fitting - I've lost half a stone in four weeks - my seamstress may not be so impressed when I try it on and it has to be taken in

Funny you should say that, my Mum was a bit panicky when she realised I wanted to lose more weight as that may mean altering my dress a bit.
Six weeks before I go, so promised that I'll have a last try on in 4 weeks :T0 -

Well ladies, next month is our month!
I am pretty much sorted now, just a few minor details to finish.
I spent this last weekend making the favours up - a combination of chocolates and Mr and Mrs rock wrapped up in some lilac organza tied with ivory and lilac ribbon. They took four hours to do!
I have also decorated bags for the treats that i have got for the children to keep them quiet during the meal.
Just have to make the table plan up onto card and write out the place name thingys.
I get to try my dress on a week saturday (I have only tried a cotton mock up of it so far!) :j
Hope it is going well for all of you

I just had a call to say my dress has arrived at the shop :j:j:j
Got a fitting next week which is very exciting! (and slightly scary in case it doesn't fit or I don't love it like I remember etc)
Still got quite a bit of making stuff to do - table decorations / order of service / table plan etc. We're going to buy the flower girl dress on Sat (left to last min on purpose in case she grows!), and still need presents for her and my grown up bridesmaid. And still debating whether to get something to keep me warm as well. Sounds like loads suddenly, but am quite calm and assuming everything will just magically fall in to place! Only 4 weeks on Sat for me!!
Good luck with the last month of planning everyone!

Hi All,
I'm getting married on March the 12th. So excited but also nervous. My mind is full with lists of things to do.
I got engaged in September which gave us roughly six months to plan everything. I'm glad i didn't have to wait any longer i don't know how some people wait two years!!!
My family and family have been a great help.
My older sister with writing all the invitations, placecards and sorting out the favours.
My younger sister with sorting out the cake, my make-up and printing of the order of service and table plans.
My mother helping with all things DIY, DIY ringbook, embellishments on all invitations and table numbers etc. Alterations on suits and dresses. Helping with contacting suppliers and vendors.
The main thing i have found is people really want to be involved in your day. I was feeling guilty about asking for help but lots of people WANTED to be involved. My friend has kindly offered to be onsite co-ordinator for ceremony and evening reception and another friend (professional photographer)has kindly offered to take our photos.
I'm so blessed to have the support. As it has made the process of wedding planning a lot easier and actually more fun. :j
Just got the whole beauty regime to get on with. Not looking forward to the waxing.
Has anyone bought wedding insurance? Any suggestions?
Good luck to all of the March brides!! Hope your big day is filled with joy and love!!!0
