    Thanks angelic :rotfl:
have you accidentally bought your cooker yet?!

Not yet...I've been really cheeky and asked the local electrical shop if they can price match it for me so I get it quicker :D

I've told them I'd get advantage card points and cashback to see if they can do me a better deal :o

A year ago I would have just bought it but now, my frugality seems to have got the better of me :D

Hi everyone! Just popping in to post a measly 1 penny - I really want to get back to proper padding ways but the money just isn't there at the minute as I had no rent again this month from the bf *sighs* :(

You probably remember I lent him the cash to pay off one of his debts a while back, and then helped him sort out a sort of self managed DMP, but he's not been sticking to it and when I asked him for rent at the start of the month he made a load of half arsed excuses, and then when I pressed him he admitted that he'd missed a couple of payments and his creditors had asked him to pay full amounts. I told him the absolute truth that I love him loads but if he was going to carry on being unreliable, and even worse, lieing about it, then there was no point carrying on because he's just going to destroy any trust.
I saw him fiddling about with a spreadsheet the other day and he's doing something on it now so hopefully he's having his own lbm :o. Gonna ask him what he's up to in a second :p

Hope all you scottish people enjoyed last nights football result :rotfl:Shocking!! And what's with Wayne Rooney the arrogant to$$er! "Nice to see the home fans booing," yeah Wayne nice to see the football team playing well and winning... oh wait...

    Have a good day all!
    xx

I hope your man sorts himself out!!

Since OH and I had that arguement a while back, I've felt like a total control freak about money - especially when he has to ask for £3 :rotfl:but it's the only way we'll manage.

I'm not suggesting you take control of 'his' money, but relationships are supposed to be a partnership...i.e the man hands over the money to the woman  :rotfl:

And yes, the football was most enjoyable :D:p

Well if his spreadsheeting doesn't seem very sensible I'm going to suggest that I take control - He can put a bit of money into a separate bank account then thats his spending money, when it's gone it's gone, while I sort everything else out. Whats more irritating is that if he's have stuck to the original plan he'd have been debt free this month with his entire wage to himself! Stupid man!
