I think it was entitled 'Police forced entry to our flat', or something along those lines.
Was, quite possibly, the worst thing to do in this instance. Thankfully, thread has been locked and I think a request has been put it in for it to be removed.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hi everyone, £62 to OD which now brings me down to my new limit but doesnt leave alot for food for the rest of the month.
Thinking positive ...... if I can pay that much off and struggle only little (mind you we are only half way through the month  .... pushes that thought to one side)then surely I can pay off more than I do and not struggle at all ?? I will have to look into this

Hey Nicky!
My niece was the same as your son. They did turn her at one point, but then she turned back (difficult so and so!).
My sister did have a c-section and all was fine. Did the hospital offer you any advice on the procedure? How to prepare yourself etc? If not, I think there should be some information on the net. Maybe the NHS site?
Just want you to know that c-section's aren't always bad. AND.....he may well turn himself before tomorrow!

Hi Nicky
Try not to worry. I had a caesarean with DS because he was footling breech (wanting to come out feet first - very dangerous apparently). It should have been elective but ended being emergency because I went in for a scan to check on his position (just before 38 weeks) and my waters broke in the waiting room! Up until that time I was quite upset about having to have a caesarian but I remember lying on the operating table waiting for them to knock me out (I had to have a general anaesthetic because an epidural would have taken too long and they wanted that baby out!) and I was getting a few mild contractions. I remember thinking 'hmm, these are mild ones ......carry on, knock me out!'
The anaesthetic is the worst thing - I was in a room of 4 where all 4 of us had caesareans, 3 under general and 1 epidural and you could tell which was which. The one who had the epidural was up and walking about the next day and generally being able to enjoy her baby. The rest of us were complete zombies confined to bed!
In the end, yours and your baby's lives are what are most important - in my case, trying to give birth to a footling breech naturally is very dangerous to both mother and baby.
By the way - how many weeks are you? Is there still time for baby to turn?
My DS was head down until 32 weeks when one night he decided to turn round the other way (I remember it well!). I remember the midwife saying then that there was still time for him to turn back again - he didn't though!
Big hugs!:grouphug:PigginSkint's debt free diary

into boxes, crates and suitcases.
On the second day, she had the movers come
and collect her things.
On the third day, she sat down for the last time at
'their' beautiful dining room table by candle-light,
put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of
spring-water.
When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods...
She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.
When the husband returned with his new girlfriend,
all was bliss for the first few days.
Then slowly, the house began to smell...
They tried everything;
cleaning, mopping and airing the place out...
Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets
were steam cleaned.
Air fresheners were hung everywhere.
Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters,
during which they had to move out for a few days and
in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting.
Nothing worked!!!
People stopped coming over to visit.
Repairmen refused to work in the house.
The maid quit.
Finally, they could not take the stench any longer
and decided to move.
A month later, even though they had cut their price
in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky
house.
Word got out and eventually even the local realtors
refused to return their calls.
Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money
from the bank to purchase a new place...
The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going.
He told her the saga of the rotting house.
She listened politely and said that she missed her
old home terribly and would be willing to reduce
her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house.
Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell
was, he agreed on a price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth but only if she were
to sign the papers that very day.
She agreed and within the hour his lawyers
delivered the paperwork.
A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling
as they watched the moving company
pack everything to take to their new home...
And to spite the ex-wife,
they even took the curtain rods....
I LOVE A HAPPY ENDING,
DON'T YOU?
LOL.
I had heard the one about putting smelly stuff in the curtain rods but not the bit about taking them with them :rotfl:0
