    Hello folks

Expenses have come in today  which is "my" cash as it was all Maestro / Cash spends not on credit card so I give unto the Barclaycard the entire refund of £226

Takes ages to get the expenses back but as I am using my own money, it's almost like having a savings fund in the bank to use when they arrive

I will come back later and put my "own" PAD in when I've done some spreadsheet surfing at home tonight.

I asked the same question recently and decided for the motivation factor it was better to clear a smaller debt which is what I am doing.

For me clearing a £500 credit card is easier then clearing £7000+ :rotfl:

    EE

Hello Minni me - I did the same as EE

Cleared my lowest balance first as a motivator - £2k even though it was 19% interest, then started attacking the £4.7k beast at 29% interest  after that.

Whatever works for you I say! One bonus of clearing the smaller one and then closing the account (as long as you do close it) is that means less total available credit which I think would help your credit rating - correct me if I am talking rubbish PADDERS ?

Well, a sunny hello to all PADers! (even though the sun seems to have b**gered off today...*pokes the sky*)

Anyhoo, payDay today, but my larger PADs don't come out until Friday so today I have PADed 46p STC plus £5.11 to round down my account, so a compact and bijou £5.57 into online savings for me please :)

Sorry to hear about your dentist news, Euro, but as others have already said, at least you have the money to cover it this time round. I think the increased insurance sounds like a grand idea.

A maHOOsive welcome to all you newbies out there, and good luck on your debt-free path - if anything can help get you there, PADing can :)

    Take care all!
