    Seriously though, thanks for all your comments.... I have a little while to decide, and I've start booking the hen do which is definitely the fun part!!

    Try to use the CC for this, if you can, for the added security.

    We booked a hen weekend for my sister through a company that subsequently went bust about 3 weeks before the event. It was only because we had paid via CC that we were able to get the money back.

    Sorry, don't want to be a downer, just want to save you the hassle we had. For this reason, I would also recommend booking hotels, activities etc separately from each other, rather than using a company as we ended up having to change our plans completely in order to still go ahead with the weekend.
