    Don't drink it all.

I'll have a drink, then I'll be wobbling and then I won't care what my belly bar looks like.

    Ta very much.

Hi Everyone, Can I join your gang!!! Started my DMP with PayPlan last year, got another 11-1/2 years to go, coming up to 56 this year and feel like I have a long noose around my neck. PayPlan have been very good and supportive and have dealt with everything for me. One of my creditors (NatWest) has just taken me to court though as they wanted more money a month, so I now have a CCJ. Judge told me I should have gone to CAB, which I did do initially, they put me in touch with PP, but he told me I was ill-informed. Came out of court feeling really depressed because I thought I was doing something sensible by taking on a DMP, cried all the way home and for the rest of the day! My partner who I jointly own the house with (mortgaged) is giving me grief because he thinks his credit rating is going to be affected because of the CCJ even though the only thing we have joint is the house, all other accounts etc are in our own names!!

On a more positive note though, do feel much better having finances under control now, am considering trying to up my payments if I can as would like to try and pay off quicker.

Never ever had bad credit before, got into this mess by trying to make a better life for myself by starting my own business, then had operation could not work, then recession hit, ended up using credit cards to fund myself and before I knew it was on the slippery slope into drowing with debt, was too proud at first to admit, but then realised I was not the only one in this postion!!

    Apologies for the sob story!!!

Are there others on here who are with PayPlan? See that many people on here are with CCCS, are they any better?

    Hi BooBoo.

Welcome to the madhouse. you are more than welcome to join us, but don't be expecting many sensible conversations on this thread, I am beginning to wonder if we are capable of sensible talk.
