Can I join this group please:am new to this so hope this is ok.

i am only (!!) 49 hubbie just turned 50 BUT Probably many years 'til retirement esp the way things are going with our new govt.

anyway.... started DMP with CCCs in Jan 2010 as debts were becoming a real problem ; the minimum payments were leaving us with nowt to live on so decided about time to tackle the problem.

Its going to take about 5 years + we think but may take longer.Fortunately more than half of our creditors cancelled interest but getting nowhere with barclaycard and MBNA Grrr

Hoping for some encouragement 'cos sometimes living with your means and being frugal can get you down..

    Cheers

    Hi Greygirl

You are welcome to join our group, :T:T

After time you may wish you hadn't 'cos although we know the debt is a serious subject, we try and liven things up a bit. We have many laughs, but we also share our problems. Its been a bit quiet today, but I am sure that some of the regulars will be along fairly soon.

P.S. Can you pole dance.?? We may be getting on a bit but we do live it up. When Nanna and mrsi get going, there is no stopping them

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:nanna, you always cheer me up, Mr Dopey has now stopped doing his advanced tent erecting, mainly due to it raining cats and dogs.

May just go an have a dance around the pole, got a new MSE haircut to-day
    waltzed into empty hairdressers
can you trim my hair, just take 1 inch off please, no more no less
    yes she says
    good says Dopey carry on
Hairdresser, does what I TELL HER:D:D:D

Hair looks fine, same as when it used to cost £90 a go
    she charges me £9
    result
Dopey puts jumper over head and runs down street (like a footballer)
    very MSE:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    My last hairdresser charged £90!!!!
But the cut is still there and I just needed it trimmed back in, loads of people just want a straight forward trim without a load of palaver. I don't like people touching my head (weird I know), so the quicker the better, I'd rather go to the dentists.............
