    Morning All

Hope your bits are better Mrs I, can I just say that it didn't prevent you swinging around that pole at Wombleton and hitting that Native American over the head when he was chasing Elfen. Nevertheless, take care.

Cold and windy here today, Mr Dopey is being depressed by the weather, this is not his ideal camping weather. Off to batter a few small businessmen around the head, got to have some excerise after all..........

Hi guys, Hope you are all well. Seems ages since I last posted. Last week was rather sad at work and everyone very subdued. One lady's husband had fatal heart attack out of the blue. Early 60s. Another lady's DS (early 20s) in intensive care after accident fighting for his life. Another's 90 year old mum had appendicitis with complications. It all affected us in one way or another. makes you realise that debt is not so important.
    Anyway take care everyone

    Hi dmb.

Glad to hear you are okay. I know what you mean about putting things into persepctive......what is debt after all. It sort of brings it home that these things happen and that owing money is not the be all and end all.!!

Take care, and hope that you have a better week.

DMB what an awful week for you, hope that it improves, you are right Elsie, owing money doesnt matter at all when compared with the real issues life throws up at us.
We continue to travel from chaos to crisis, but we survive to fight another day:)

have stayed in cottages in North Yorks, Runswick Bay, Whitby, Filey also a couple of times in Northumberland, spent a lot of nice weekends in the lakes in nice hotels too, was trying to find somewhere different that we hadn't been, fed up trying to save money this way, maybe just stay at home, could put tent in back garden...............

Northumberland around Amble and Warkworth is very nice. I have a friend up there and venture north of the watford gap at least once a year... Always find something nice to see and do

Ooooo that does annoy me. I know its lovely to see them but when you aren't prepared. All you can do is eek it out and hope for the best. They probably wouldn't give it a thought whether you had enough to go round.!!

Are you having a bit of a rest now mrsi, make the most of it whilst you can.

P.s. Did you ever find out what happened to the missing pegs, perhaps they are with my odd socks.:rotfl::rotfl:
By the way are the socks and pan lids having an awayday with the wire coat hangers and tesco carrier bags that breed so rampantly? I always put two in a cupboard and go back and find 20... *wandering around looking puzzled and shaking head*

Bad bad news about NiD Elsie, not sure what'll happen without him, the creditors must have had a party last night thinking about all the money their going weasel out of people.
DMB hope you have a better week
Still mooching around the maps looking for the "perfect" camping site while Mr Dopey is still going for MBA with Honours in Putting up a pesky tent and taking it down again, he's started to time himself...................
