Morning All
Well its not sunny here, all warm and muggy and dull!!!
Just going to chill to-day, had a wee medication problem the last couple of weeks but battered down the Doctor's door on Wed and said not any longer I feel worse now and she changed the drugs and I feel tons better already. She confessed that the NHS always trys the cheapest first, even if it might not be the absolute best!!!!!!
Have a good day all, is there football or something on?????More than Two Years in

Good monring everyone.
Work today for me, so its an early start again...:(...I absolutely dread the winter monrings coming when its cold and dark, but after saying that at least I might be able to sleep a bit better, it seems to be constantly light at the moment.!! Pay day today, so the bank balance is looking pretty healthy - that will soon change, give it a week or so.!!;)
Its also weigh in day for me too......well a trip to Boots to get weighed on their scales for 50p.! Can't afford to pay a fiver for a slimming club. Don't think I have done terribly well, sometimes you think its easier to diet in the summer, but I dont agree. I find that I pick more when its hot. Anyway if I lose a pound its better than nothing.* elsie wonders which part of her body she can chop off before 3pm

Have a good day everyone, see you later.
Have a look at http://www.sparkpeople.com I've lost 3 1/2 stones using that site and it's free. All the support of a club and none of the cost. It's an american site but there are uk groups so look for them and join in
I'd agree with the others 1lb is 1lb. better than both standing still and going up
Lovely sunny day here so going to grab a pizza and go to the park with the kids and grandkids
Have a good day all0 -

Morning everyone.
Its blooming Monday again......how did that happen so quick.!!:(
Well the footie is over for England, and not being a football fan, I will be glad when the telly gets back to normal. Work again for me today, although only for 6 hours, but in this heat its long enough.:D
Moneypenny, I have joined the Sparks people site, and now will see how I do. Failing that its back to SW, it costs about £5 but will be worth it if I lose the weight. Then I won't have to buy any new clothes, 'cos I've got a wardrobe full that are too small at the moment, so I'm being very MSE.:money:
PDD - hope your medication is making you feel better now, and that you're not going to have too hard a week at work.:D
Mrsi - glad to hear that you had a nice afternoon out, it makes a nice change. and you have recovered from all your chores.:D
Must go and get breakfast now, will be back around 3 ish.:)

Morning All
Hope you had a good day yesterday and are not too distraught. Any truth in the rumour of floods in the North of England due to the Scottish nation piddling themselves laughing???? Sorry, I must be allowed one wee joke!
Medication is kicking in and I feel loads better, so much for the cheapest stuff sometimes works!!!
Elsie, let me know if the weight loss stuff works, I had put on loads on the old medication, but have lost some already on the new stuff, so I might feel encouraged to do something, although I'm still awaiting the magic pill, you know you go to bed weighing 12 stone and get up weighing 9 stone.
Elsie how is son? hope he is still progressing to full health.
Quite a wee breeze here now, so hopefully it won't be just as hot, gardened for a wee while yesterday and nearly melted away to a greasy spot.
Much Much less stressful worky week this week, so probably will get away with not strangling anyone, fingers crossed.

artenoon all . Much cooler today, much appreciated. Amazing but true, the Invisible household is back to its normal inhabitants, self, oh and his tv. This will not last, and I appreciate the help and input of all who visit,:A but sometimes it is nice just to relax we two.
I have a load of ironing but my back has gotten worse again so it must wait0 -
Hi Mrs I

Hello everyone, had busy weekend so not had time to come on. Weather gloriously hot but a bit too hot and sticky for me. Know I shouldn't complain. Just shelled out £45.60 for filling at dentist so not only am I a bit poorer my mouth is still numb and achy. Fancy a chilled glass of white but don't think tooth will appreciate it.:D
Have a good evening everyone. :beer:DeeBee0 -
Hi everyone,
Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better PDD.....
Had a conversation with Barclays last week, they have offered to knock about £300 off a small loan that we had with them if we pay it off. Seriously considering it, because we then would only have to pay around the £600 mark and its another debt cleared. Have written to them asking for confirmation in writing that they will accept this amount and that they will mark our credit file as settled.!
Will keep you all informed.
Son is okay.....now....We had a slight panic towards the end of last week. Oncologist rang and said they needed another blood test doing asap, which made us all panic for a while..........Consultant rang today after checking bloods and said all is okay.!! I can see this being a bit of a roller coaster over the next 2 years, but so far its all good.
Hope your neck is a bit better mrs i........I have got a stiff neck......old age springs to mind with all these little aches and pains.
Glad to see you are okay dmb- except for being £40+ down, and a numb tooth.!
Going to have a mooch around the boards and see what is happening. BTW, its 11 weeks since we sent our CCA requests off and so far 3 are definite UE, 2 just havn't even replied, so technically they are also UE, and 1 creditor is still looking for it.!!

Elsie that is great, all the UEs that is, but totally insignificant compared to the good news about your son. Go you eh?:j:j:j
Dmb ever thought of wine through a straw or a 'sippy cup?' I know that that is how I celebrated my 50th. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My back gave out and I was on the floor for 24 hours couldnt move, couldnt lift my head enough to drink normally, so a sippy cup it was!!!!! wont embarrass myself to tell you the bathroom tale:o0
