Its going to be another great day. Washing is in.....although I couldn't really find a complete load of whites......I agree with you ladies.....why do we feel the need to put the washing machine on, just 'cos the sun is shinning.??

Mrsi - join the club....I am not a footie fan at all...I used to watch Tennis years ago when it was Connors/Borg/MacEnroe etc, but not now. And I for one would be glad to see something on the telly except sport. My OH says " its only every 4 years", but surely the TV companies could still cater for people who don't 'do' sport.!!

Dmb......don't get me started......as you know I was on DMP for 2 and a half years, and they never stopped or reduced my interest at all. They were charging £200 plus every month. How does that help exactly.??

Anyway, off for breakfast now, just be having a quick tidy up this morning and I have some alterations to do on some dresses for a friend. Will be popping back in later.

No sun here today, might mean I actually get something done:D However, gotta go over to Manc later today to start clearing out DDs flat - as a bonus it will make this place seem wonderfully clean & tidy:eek: On the subject of lovely LLoyds again, got a letter from them this week to say int rate on their card is going up - what a surprise:rotfl:It's the one with the most int already, hope to get it cleared by the time it goes up but it will be a push. Roll on payday - supposed to be Friday but who knows?

morning liquid sunshine today (no surprise as it is supposed to be dgs school sports day):( so no garden or washing today. Builder has been for his money, so it will be a store cupboard food week. They have done a great job for us, so I'm not complaining. When I told him about the plumbers putting the radiators in the middle of the walls, tho, his face was a picture, and I think he said muppets with a swear word in:rotfl:
Got the plasterer coming today to make good the kitchen walls before we tile (royal we, as it is bro who is doing it not me)

meal was Ok, if you are taking clients out to dinner you always have to have something easily dealt with ie risotto, cos you are working and that usually means talking, so it isn't much fun really.

Sash, you can reject any rate rise on your CC, just phone and tell them you want to pay it off at the present rate, it is a right and they can't argue as long as you don't spend on it anymore.

Good evening everyone.
Know what you all mean about putting washing on as soon as sun is out. We're gluttons for hard work, that's our problem - don't notice the menfolk rushing to do the same.
Connors/Borg/McEnroe - those were the days. used to love watching Wimbledon then. Can't seem to get so interested in it nowadays. No real personalities or maybe I'm just old.
more sun promised for tomorrow - just going to get all bedding ready to put into machine:rotfl:

I know what you mean about the tennis, they don't seem to have the ' characters ' around now. Pat Cash, Ille Nastasie (can't spell that) and then the women, Virginia Wade, Chrissy Evertt, Billie Jean King.........they were definitely the days. I used to knit my kids jumpers ready for school in September during the tennis, so I didn't feel so guilty about watching it.

Oh well......

I'm off to bed too, up early again tomorrow.
