    Morning All

DS returned safely to us this morning on the earliest plane into airport which was then 2 hours late, so was sitting waiting for ages in uncomfortable airport when I could still have been in my bed!!!

Great news for Mouseann, really tempts me, will just keep an eye on what happens now to further persuade Mr Dopey not to be so honourable.

So broke but needing a wee holiday so Mr Dopey has organised a camping trip!!!! Have given him a big list of do and don't and he has assured me it will be painless, hmmmm watch this space.

Glad DS has arrived home safe and sound....normal service will resume re the fridge being raided then.!!

Great news for Mouseanne, and to be fair the 6 creditors we CCA'd has gone really well, so far. We are only 10 days behind Mouseanne, and the hassle has been almost non existent. We have changed out telphone number, but that didn't cost us anything, and we are now ex directory. Most of our family and friends call or text us on mobiles anyway. We very rarely get any letters and when we do, I just use the flow charts or if I'm stuck, then I check with Niddy, and send what he recommends. Part of me thinks we should have done this at the very beginning, we paid out over £40k in 2 years, and really didn't get much further because only one of our creditors stopped interest.

Camping eh.!! I used to love it, but only in good weather.

Nanna, don't get cold feet. If you are stuck I can always tell you as much as I can, and Niddy will always offer advice. Believe me it makes a heck of a difference.

    Well done on the ribbon.!!:T:T

    lovely ribbon Nanna!!!

I've given Mr Dopey a list of dos and don'ts, which any campsite must adhere to

    must be near the sea
    must be near the pub/a shop/a tearoom/restaurant
    it must be dry
he's doing all the heaving of tents etc
no noise/busyness or other people's children (I know you are a doting lot of grandmothers but I would just like some peace while it lasts)
must be able to walk to above amenities and I don't mean a yomp over miles of countryside I mean a gentle stroll

where do you think he'll take me??????

With that list he'll probably pitch a tent in the garden.!! get a paddling pool out, and open the kitchen window for easy access to 'tea rooms':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

gosh Elsie, do you think I'm being unreasonable????
maybe if I could just smell the sea, don't necessarily have to have a sea view, will that make it easier?

I think most of your wish list is attainable......the 'must be dry ' bit is a bit iffy.!! You know what British weather is like. Have you been camping before i.e do you have your own equipment. If not why not consider going with Eurocamp or Keycamp......all their tents are set up ready, and you get electic fridges etc.

oh Mr Dopey has borrowed equipment cos we really can't afford a holiday so this is on the ultra cheap, be lucky if we get as far as the lakes and we know they are not exactly famed for dryness!!!

I suppose thoughts of lying on an airbed sipping a cacktail with an umbrella while he builds the tent around of me may be a bit wide of the mark??

PDD - if you can get away with lying on an airbed, sipping a cocktail whilst Mr Dopey builds the tent around you, good luck.!! It will probably by pouring with rain and blowing a gale.....but you know what they say." What doesn't kill you makes you stronger "!! The lakes are great and if you can drop on the weather then it will be fine. We have spent many a[STRIKE] wet, windy[/STRIKE] err hot and sunny week there camping.
