Moneypenny - you are probably right, I don't think we have ever had a plot, or a plan, ever since we started this thread. ! We have just always been a very small, select group of very barmy older people.!! What more can I say?:o:o :rotfl:

Well, its the Bank Holiday weekend, so lets hope the weather is nice, and we can all enjoy ourselves.:beer: We don't plan on going anywhere this weekend, just chilling out really, OH is going abroad with work on Monday for almost a week, so I'll be doing a bit of packing for him, and just the usual shopping to do this morning.:(

Spent most of last night, helping OH sort out his expenses.......what a bl@@dy nightmare they are!!!:eek:! I have offered to help him on a regular basis, 'cos he is so busy, I am sure he forgets things, and we can end up out of pocket.:mad:

Anyway, I am in need of coffee,:coffee::coffee: will be popping in and out during the day, so have a good one guys and see you later.

No very sunny yet and I'm going to a barbeque later. Off into town to spend my magnificent savings from last month as its DS's birthday shortly.
Had a wee run in with Amex yesterday, they were always really good when I was a good customer, now I'm sh8t on their shoes, do you think the just treat debtors worse shouting in nearly foreign languages saying they can't understand me???? Not impressed and they've just gone up the pile to be CCA'd by quite a bit. Bampots!!!

Not doing anything this weekend - the rain is pouring down here in Yorkshire ATM so no outside poledancing for me unless it eases off:D Lovely & quiet (and cheap) here as DD has gone back to Manc for the w/e - whew she is like a whirlwind ripping through the house, or perhaps a tsunami, whichever does most damage LOL.

I have been quiet this week & forced myself to list 15 things on eBay last w/e - hoping to do some more & get rid of some of the tons of stuff here. All are selling bar one so I'm encouraged, now I just have to stop buying stuff off ebay to replace it:rotfl:Still no pay here, O self/emp is lovely when you have no idea when you might get paid. Hope to god the VAT people don't put their cheque in before we get some money, they may take a dim view of it being bounced:eek:

Welcome to all newbies, and old hands as well, perhaps we can have a virtual BBQ if the weather is carp??

FH - Elsie have you any suggestions where I can go for the elusive RB to try & find out if we have the right person?? I saw uncle last week & he offered to pay for any certs we might need:T Still no recollections to help us though....

Yep windy as hell here. I am quite exposed where I live and the wind whipping across my balcony makes it feel more like November than May :eek:

I've been listing things on Ebay too. Just sold a top (I've dropped from a size 22 to a 16/18 so have been clearing out my wardrobe to the tune of about £100) an alarm clock and a broken necklace. Sold my old cordless phone too, so an extra £30 in the kitty.


I think if we're going to have a BBQ it should be a proper dealing with debt BBQ... so here is my contribution

Bin shopping and at the checkout was achild n her mum n nan child asked the fellow on the till his name and told him hers then she said i had to ask cos im blind and cant see you.I felt tears well up it was so sad:(:(:(
