Up and ready this morning, hoovering done, washing on the line, having a coffee and waiting in for the gas engineer.......How come they only give you between 8am and 1pm....:(...its quite annoying really 'cos it means you are hanging about, but it has to be done so I'll stop grumbling.:D

Done morning check on the banking situation and I can tell its getting towards pay day..:eek:....23rd for us this month so not long to wait. :T I'm going to have a look through my extensive wardrobe,( of things that don't fit me )!! to see what I can take away with me on holiday. I can't afford to buy anything new except a couple of strappy t-shirts, so it will be a case of make do and mend.....AGAIN !! :mad: Roll on being debt free when I can feel able to buy something new, without wondering where I can pinch the money from out of our budget.!!

Elsie, you've made feel tired and I've just got up!!! Do you want to come and tidy me up??? OH is home, just in time as all the airports are closed here. I was in beddybies early last night but just wanted to say no worrying, I do the worrying for Scotland so might as well do yours as well. And don't give her the money!!!! Recent experience in the family of something of this sort and I have to say I was astoundeded at how truly wicked people can be!!!
Ok I'm here this morning, but off out around lunchtime.

Got up at 5.45am :eek: to take advantage of the travelodge offer - mainly for my friend coming over from choccy-land in Sep & needing to stay in London :eek: Not sure it was worth getting up so early for, v. interesting to note the prices as of last night & then this morning - it seems they hike the prices on the other nights to compensate:rotfl:Still, I got her & her DD the first night for £9, then the total for the 5 days for her is £237, so not too bad for Covent Garden hotel. Then did our booking, got a £9 Durham & a £12 Scarborough, then DH decided we should also go to London for a couple of the days they are here, by this time the £9 rooms were £19, but still a good buy. Just need cheapo train tickets now & probs food vouchers, then hols here we come. TBH seems that there are plenty of cheap rooms left, but prices are rising all the time so get in there quick.:T

BTW E52, if you want to tidy me up you are most welcome to do mine as well. Been up 3+ hours & not done anything except try for rooms. next stop is M&S for the dine in for £10 deal......with a bit of creativity, you can get all your food shopping for the week out of a couple of the deals, plus you get the vino collapso as well, even if you don't drink much (:rotfl:) it's good for pressies.......

OH gone off to work YEAH hes worked 5 weeks this year no wonder its feels impossible to make any headway. 2 steps forward and 6 back .This is why i can only make min payments at the moment as we nnd the money hey ho:):)

It must be really hard when OH not in work....its bad enough ditching the debt with 2 wages coming in.
