If you say what you did, advise that it was because you misread the form, apologise profusely and offer ID etc to show you weren't someone else or the like they might remove the CIFAS marker.

I called Amex today,i spoke to a calm lady,she asked if i was the one that applied for it,i said yes,she said my account details was not be able to verified/checked on me,i gave her my own acc details,she said it was difference for the one in the application,i told her it was mistake,she asked for my employer and contact details.
They would get back to me in three days,when i checked my Experian now the Cifas's marker is removed.

CIFAS markers can't be removed that quickly, can they?

You can confirm from Amex/Cifas if is possible or not,and feed me back,it seems that you know everything.This is Amex special number for the department 0870241454.My own Cifas's marker it has been removed today,for people that have issue of cifas on their profile,you can remove yours same day.

They are very efficient then, great well done :beer:

The other credit card company known for OTT CIFAS markers (Sygma) take much longer to react.
