This isn't a fight between people with disabilities and those without but a difference of opinion as to how disabilities affect people's attitudes to work and daily life.
Life is not all black and white and not everybody with a disability thinks that this should be an excuse to believe that the rest of society owes us a living!
you are obviously trying to nitpick with me and quite frankly i dont know why,but am not bothered.
i think you will find that the thread is nothing to do with work, the op was trying to get into the cinema,as far as i can see she was within her rights, nor did anyone say society owe us anythingi came into the world with nothing, and guess what? i still have it!!!:p0 -

Disagreeing with someone about the degree of dyslexia that exists isn't bullying. As a former teacher, I have experience in this area having taught adult literacy and far too many people describe themselves as dyslexic when they are nothing of the kind and have no diagnosis of the condition. It does a great disservice to those who actually are dyslexic.
Why must people like you consider that every difference of opinion is some kind of bullying? It's a really stupid thing to allege everytime that someone disagrees with you.0 -

You could even be polite.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -

There's having a difference of opinion and then there's calling somebody a liar with no facts to base it on what so ever, they're too very different things.
Some people are just. nasty by nature like I said before you can't teach 'old dogs' new tricks. I'm sure there'll be many others on here that they insult and then all go 'here here' to their insults like a pack of nasty school kids. It's pathetic but that's clearly how they are having done it to several people in this thread alone, to others in previous threads and I've no doubt they'll continue and do it others in the future too."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

It's implying that your a liar, not stating it. A very polite way of not being polite.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

I agree with some & disagree with most of these comments however: -
1. It IS a public forum and all opinions are to be expected.
2. Not everyone agrees with everyone all of the time.
3. It amazes me that just because an OP doesn't always receive the comments they were hoping for the dummy gets spat out of the pram.0 -

But in the REAL world, would you start an argument every time you didn't agree with someone, I know I wouldn't.Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before0
