DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE FELT, OR WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, THAN JUDGE SOMEONE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!

? i wasnt asking to turf anyone out of the cinema, the seats wer avalable for those with disabilitys to use, im disabled so why shouldnt i use them?

Because you don't have a disability that fits the set criteria for those seats?

Anyway how do you know there were 12 vacant limited mobility seats? Did you see them?

It's an internet forum what's to forgive and forget, it's not real life love and if it upsets you so much do yourself a favour and use the off button.

Does it amuse you to be rude to people? Maybe it's the supposed detatchment of it only being the Internet that makes some people think they can be as rude and rotton as they like to people and it doesn't matter. But we're still all real people wether our words are written or spoken. Perhaps it is you who should be using the off button untill you can learn some comon decency.

Keeping to the original post, I've often wondered about reserved facilities.

In this scenario: there are 12, or 24, spaces/seats reserved for the need of potential customers in wheel chair (for example) and their companions. These are held away from public use in case users should require them. These are never sold to the public and so go empty when not required.

The OP's situation could have been resolved by waiting until the last ticket could be sold, the film about to start and the ticket booth closing for that film. Then the OP, her OH/carer and 10/22 other people could have had a seat at that showing.

The same way as cancellations can work at the theatre or a flight - if you aren't there your seat (or potential seat as to our knowledge these seats we're not pre booked) can be sold to someone else who will use them.

I mean, the seat is not made less fit for a disabled user at the next showing by having someone with no mobility issues sit in it now?
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.

I made this exact point earlier in the thread and was met with a very imature reply comparing it to non dissabled' drivers parking in dissabled' bays being ok so long as they were empty at time. Clearly not in any way comparable to our point but the points of this thread were lost long ago as some people just like to argue and have a go at people.

When a film is about to start there's no reason what so ever for those last seats to be left empty when there are no wheelchair users needing them.

I think maybe this thread has run it's course, we have every possible opinion, and now it's just turning into a ring for sly digs and judging. OP, take what you want in the way of advice from the thread, and maybe leave it be now.

I'm dyslexic and don't care one iota about your pathetic little digs, still funny you coming out with something like that after earlier telling someone else they should grow up is pretty amusing.

Everybody who has wanted to add something helpfull and constructive has done done so now and all that is left is people being unpleasant so I agree with Invasion it might as well just be left to drop down the board now, there's clearly no more good being done by the thread now.
