It's a Philips box, doesn't seem to be any model number on it; an old box left over from the days of ondigital. I have done 'store channels', but is updating software something different?0 -
i just went to add new servicews on my box and there it was, it took a max of 5 mins to add the channel along with othersNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

clareski - I think E4+1 is the channel that film 4 took over0

I can't get E4+1 or Film4 still... trying to do a reset again and it seems that every time I try the number of channels decrease!
I have a Sagem ITD 62, and bought a booster ariel. I used to be able to get about 70 channels (inc radio) listed on the installation screen, then it went down to 59 which I stupidly saved by mistake, now it is only 46.
I used to have Sky when I lived with my parents, but left them the box when I moved out. Cant afford Sky again yet - is there any way I can get more channels? I am a bit thick when it comes to technology and tend to look very blank when people mention software.
Thanks0 -

Nope it was More4+1, as stated above..0 -
if you cant get all channels on free view it is probably because you need a new ariel or you have a cheapy box or you are in a bad signal area.
on sky e4 and e4+1 are not free but film4 is

Sky packages are going up by £1 per month...so nothing is free!!To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

We live in a poor reception area and although a new ariel has been fitted which makes a huge difference, when retuning quite often channels are lost - usually radio! Retuned to pick up Film 4 the other day and lost loads - most of them radio - but managed to get them all back last night! This strange summer weather has obviously not helped! Keep trying the retune and I'm sure they will come back!! NB We have 3 Freeview boxes - Matsui, Daewoo and Sagem and all get the same problems even if you update the software/I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

anyone know what number it is on freeview? (sorry if someone else has already asked the question):oIt is unwise to pay too much but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, all you lose is a little money... that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better (John Ruskin - 19 ctry author, art critic & social reformer)0

Thanks
Sagem themselves are very helpful if you have problems. Google their website and email them and see what they say. There was a problem with updating on one of their boxes a year or so ago and they sent me out a new box
