Film 4 free at 9pm tonight!

I've got Freeview and I can't get Film Four either. There are a couple of channels missing from my box, always have been - I've tried rescanning, updating software, I've checked my house's position to the transmitter, everything I could think of. I even tried contacting my box's manufacturer (Humax) to find out if they had the answer, but they didn't even have the courtesy to email back.

This is driving me seriously crazy as I'd really been looking forward to getting Film Four. If anybody gets any results on how to sort this, please post!

anyone who wants to watch film four would of known because they wanted to watch it so why is there even a post about it, its not even a freebie its just telling you that some people might be getting a channel on thier tv.

you probably need a new arial or you are in a bad signal area because i had the same problem

Hi. Does anyone know when E4 and Film4 will be available on Freesky?

It is possible that in some parts of the country you won't receive all of the Freeview muxes (groups of channels).

Try http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/coverage.html for a detailed channel listing for your postcode. But remeber you need a decent signal in the first place to receive Freeview.

Lost In Translation is one of the best films ever made I think. I hope you all enjoyed it!

I started to watch it on Film4, but then the ad break came so I dug out my Region 1 DVD of it and watched it from where the ad break stopped.

Need the name of your freeview box first - so easy to update software on freeview!. Try get into your config pannel first.............. :eek: :eek:

on mine its easy go to menu then setup then full channel search do that takes about 3 min then it updates all the new channels film four is great
