If you've really NEVER had a till-spit, I would phone up the Customer Service Number on your Clubcard and ask if your account is set to 'no offers'. You may have ticked a box when you first applied for cc, not realising the implications...i.e. missing out on till-spits!
It's also a good idea to open up a new card in OH's name (or the dog's name if you haven't got an OH). I finally got round to opening a card for myself last week, after always using OH's or my Mum's.
I was well pleased when they credited my new account with 150 points 'to start you off'!:rotfl:
I will contact customer service as you suggest, I have had my clubcard for years, but have only started shopping with Tesco regularly since about August'ish and boy have I missed out.
Wish I had joined this site and paid to shop earlier now:o
I did my H&B shop tonight to stock up on all the essentials, plax, shampoo, bisodol, vitamins, as you do.:p A couple of my coupons did not scan and were given back and the lovelly young SA happened to ask the supervisor as she walked by which other ones he could take, she said new policy was 'only what the lady had bought plus ONE other!!,' so maybe they are tightening up on their usage.
Also asked about till spills whilst I was there and was told they usually get triggered by the goods you buy. Well shopping religiously at Tesco since August I think I must have purchased at least thousands of products, surely one of them would spark a till spill, after my shop = NONE.
Well did use my 200 point till spill (bought from ebay) on a PC game @ .97p:D
And.... found a 50 point till spill for the daily telegraph also on the floor, sent daughter to pick it up:o:grinheart I've caught it - The TESCO bug!!:grinheartTesco points have paid for Florida holiday this year'Kids now have 'womblitis':rotfl:I :heart2: MSE£2 savings 2008 = £46Quidco £244.95 PAID 2007 - £54.62 received to dateKids Finders keepers jar £5.99 -since 26/5/070 -
Much to my work colleagues surprise I grabbed my handbag and said I was off home because it was till spill Monday !!
Anyway, I used my 2 olde faithful cards and a new one. My 2 olde faithfuls didn't let me down and produced:
100 points for buying always ultra x 2
100 points for buying essentials magazine
250 points for buying clothing £10 spend
My new card nothing
I also found a till spill for 50 points for the Telegraph left in a trolley
I also returned £10 worth of clothing (wrong size), exchanged it for £12.50 of children's clothing and the SA gave me 10p change !!!

Hiya Poundsinbucks  I may be a good voucher user but I am carp at the old R&R thingI bought many pairs of jeans all but one at £2 each, the last one went through at £5 and checking the tag it was marked at £5 and not at £2 like the others
Having reduced my shopping bill from £141 to £70 odd I didn't want a CS looking at my receipt so I did a straight swap instead and got some lovely PJs and a top for DD1 instead.

I got the same as your 1st and 3rd ones today. Funny, I have never bought Essentials mag....but I've used a lot of coupons for it! Still got 2 £1 offs left so I will have to use one and the till-spit together....is Essentials worth getting though?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

35 points for 4 Aunt Bessies Yorkshire Puddings.
Plus I found a 300 points for buying 1 dvd by the CS desk and picked up a 20 points when you spend 80p on tomatoes. So as I had just bought tomatoes, they added those 20 points on for me.
Also got several wombled receipts and two 100 point coupons from the latest health mailing and 140 points from the baby mailing added so that was an extra 487 points on top. Good day!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
