Hi Welshy I think t is tomorrow. I wombled a huge 151 points on 1 receipt today
  • Hiya :hello:
If you womble a reciept for points will they add them add the tills or do you have to go to customer services?
Also does it matter how old the reciepts are? And how many can you do at once?

    Thank you. :D

You have to go to customer services. A few people have had letters about adding on loads and loads of receipts not sure how old the receipts can be or how many you can do at once. I normally wait till I have 3 and then do 3 together.
  • I was reading on paid to shop something that made me think about wombling. The person had wombled a receipt where the goods had been paid for by credit card. Then the wombler had the points added to their clubcard. Next thing, it is discovered that the credit card is stolen and the trail leads to the person who is innocent but has picked up the receipt and has asked for the points to be added to their clubcard.

The wombler then has to explain that they didn't actually buy the goods. Maybe a good reason to womble receipts where they are cash transactions

Welshy - Did this actually happen or was it a hypothetical situation? If real, what happened to the person wombling? Sounds a scary scenario!

The girl on the CS desk told me the other day it was 3.. She said she could do 3 before my shop and 3 after..
I looked > :o ... Mystified and :( I had about 20! (Oops! haha) She took them all.

A few days later I took about another 10 to the desk a different CSA (a man) and he took them all no probs. (mind you I was fluttering my eyelashes like mad! :A )
and a few days after that I took 6 to the desk (another - different CSA) they said *Hmm well its meant to be 3* But she did them anyway. :T

I have a story now.. I tell them Ive given clubcards to my hubby (im divorced!) and my son (he's 10!) and that they never remember to use them.. and just throw them in the back of their vans. Hence them being all screwd up and dirty ;)

  • I also reclaimed my bank charges from HSBC and they did not close my account. I am now today drafting my letters and asking royal bank of scotland to repay the £817 worth of bank charges they debited me over the last 6 years. (This is now a closed account so they cannot close this one)

Hoping I get some till spills today
