Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

Grandads rarely used card produced a 25 points voucher for a £1.20 spend on salad on Sunday. So today I bought bagged sald, radish and tomatoes and needless to say it would not scan (mind you it was on my card rather than grandads) So the till girl marked the items on my receipt so I could take it to CS to have them added. (Fortunatley the CS ogre had gone on a break by the time I got there)

I also did another little shop for grandad and the till gave me an extra 30 points for the next shop so I used that straightaway on my shopping.

The odd thing is that although it would not accept my points voucher the till did give me another points voucher - yes youve guessed it for 25 points on a £1.20 salad spend! So I have got to eat salad two weeks running!

While I had the two identical points vouchers I checked the barcodes and they were identical apart from the last digit, Ii wonder wether this is significant?

mhoc .. Use your Keyring Fob .. No Name on that and no Questions asked .. I use various named Tescos points and I never have any trouble as only use the Fob ...

Yesterday I got 30 Extra Points when you spend £1.60 on any cereals ... They are getting tight now arnt they!! :rolleyes:

Got some more 'bonus points' today. Also found a till spit in the trolley for 20 points when you spend £1 on confectionery (again - like I need an excuse to buy Chocolate :rolleyes: )

Still no till spits even though i split shopping up, did find 2 in car park so they are still being given out today. 30 pts for £1.60+ spend on cheese and 50 for £2.50+ on Beer. Double points still on made me feel a bit better

Spent around £40 today, and got a till spit for half price Cathedral City mild 400g (equivalent to £1.25 off).

I would have loved to get the extra point till spit for carbonated soft drinks. No double points, and no wombling either.

50 pts for £2.50+ on Beer
20 pts for 80p+ on Bananas

top tip for you all

Hand the ClubCard to the customer assistant BEFORE they put through your shopping. This is supposed to ensure the vouchers you get are more related to the items you purchase (hence they should be more useful to you).
