Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

We regularly getting spits, although its less and less....
Don't you think that till-spits are issued after buying particular products rather than the time when you are buying???
A couple of weeks ago when i was waiting at the express till (i thought that spits are issued more often at those tills) with only a few products, (while my partner was checking out at another till with the rest of the weekly shopping), there were two customers in front of me. The first one got spits, but the second one and i didn't. Was really upset.
Me and my partner are also maaaaaaaaad about tesco vouchers, collected for three years, and at the beginning of december we are due to go our first entirely (don't need to pay a penny) tesco voucher holiday to the Maldives!!!! )))) So excited.

Hope we will break the code.

tee pee, if you mean you have never even been sent Tesco Clubcard Vouchers (?) each quarter, then I guess you have never registered your card to your name and address.

I found some old Clubcards in a drawer last year, phoned Dundee to find out which was what and they said 2 of them had some points on but had never been registered to anyone. This was before I joined MSE of course, I had obviously used them then mislaid them....but after speaking to CS I then had the points added to my main card.

If you just mean you have never had till-spits, look back a few pages in this thread where I mentioned that some people never get till-spits because, when they first took out their Clubcard, they ticked 'no offers'.

Either way, you may be able to resolve it with a phone call to Tesco Customer service in Dundee (number is on your Clubcard or the website).

I just used a till spill for half price Love it magazine, however I didn't get the magazine as it wasn't there. The till deducted the money off my bill though and it was accepted.

Just a thought maybe if we get anymore money off vouchers via the till we should try them to see if they do the same.

Very good thinking, Welshy, thanks for the tip. I will try that with the next 'money-off' till-spill, I never thought of it before as you always have to buy the product to get the points, but could be the money-off ones are different.

That shouldn't work - looks like a bug in the system in this case.
On the main checkouts the customer assistant is supposed to check the voucher is valid before scanning it and even if they miss it the system normally beeps and puts a nice big red error box on the display

Spent £18 this afternoon, and got a 20 point till spit for buying Tesco single or double cream (284ml).
