I should get DH to bring some eggs up for you.
Pumpkin pie is YUM, and not hard to make, but I think we'll have pecan. Normally we'd do three or four pies when we ''do'' Thanksgiving, but it will just be us, and so you have to choose one really....I adore pumpkin pie though.0 -

I use butternut or kabocha (spelling?) for pie....and most things really..the big carving pumpkins can be very watery...but can make decent aditions to stews/casseroles if they are.0 -
I wish I had known you were looking PN, my parents are away a lot over the winter and might have been interested in someone to stay in their holiday let and keep an eye on things - it is fairly remote tho and I'm not sure if you drive?
I have never wet the bed anywhere but my DW (at the hot GF) and I did manage to break the toilet seat in a chalet once...
Yes, I drive. I've always lived in the countryside/remote areas - so needed to drive. I even bought this car on the basis it has the capacity to carry 100% of all my belongings in one trip, so I can easily go wherever I decide I need to be.
All I "need" in life is the Internet, whether that's hard-wired/provided, or so long as I can get a dongle signal... that's what I use here all the time - a three dongle.0 -

Is carnival season over now? Its always cold when people stand out in westcountry towns in floats it seems to me. DH LOVES the by car tours of christmas lights. He's very excited we have a whole host of new territory to explore. Also, the not so posh towns always have the houses than have really gone to town....which is jolly to see0 -

You can't appreciate from the photos how big this one is Pastures, it is massive. I don't know of anywhere like it. Imagine a really posh area in a town and every single house being done up. It's a bit of a festival of chavdom round here, maybe where you are is posher.
Though this is a rather fun Hertfordshire day out for a different time of year...

It's miles from me here though, about 140 miles at a guess.
