I missed the end of the Grand Prix. I recorded it on SKY and was watching it behind the live feed. Unfortunately, by the time they announced it was to move to BBC2 it was no-longer possible to record it.

    Waiting patiently for iplayer.

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

The first 40 laps - the ones I've seen, are now available. The BB2 footage is however showing as 'not available', which is more discouraging than the normal 'coming soon' status.

Why they can't attach the footage together, and show as one for iplayer, I don't know. :(

P.S. thanks. feel free to discuss at leisure, I don't mind.

Despite not getting in until 1.40 this morning and into bed and off to sleep before 3am, I was up for 7am to watch the GP.

Part of me initially wondered what the blooming hell I was doing, especially whilst sitting there watching a safety car going around but it was worth it in the end.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I sincerely hope you haven't taken to working the streets young lady.

Speaking seriously - how was your bi-annual night out?

Economy childhood meals: my parents were not poor, but like lydiaj's chose to use money on other things....school, my extra curricular stuff, travel not connected with work....and to be honest they've just never been great with money. My mother used to do a DREADFUL economy meal that started with a packet of dried chicken noodle soup and ended with going to bed hungry for days because it was inedible and she made cauldrons full of it at a time. and sauerkraut. She was big on sauerkraut. Otherwise things like beans and soup: we were lucky. But we certainly didn't eat as lavishly: a big marker for me is that things parma ham and smoked salmon were once or twice a year things and eeked out on the plate or saved up for. I find it amazing that they are such commonplace items now for many: ever present in the supermarket.

Cat update. I think I'm making progress, if coming close enough to urinate all over me is progress. sigh. She tolerates stroking etc better and better, but it still hiding under furniture and swearing a lot. My cats don't like her language much!

Lol, nope....not sure anyone would want me anyway! :D

The night out was good, a chance to catch up with people, a chance to have a drink or two (quite literally, I had 2 small alcoholic drinks and the rest was table water) and a chance to really relax for the first time since January.

Glad you had a good time Sue. :)

Feral cat is time consuming. today I got as far as getting a collar on and of her, and tickling her tummy with her purring wildly, I go to get her food, return and she hisses. Its back to square one each time I leave her. It would be nice not to have to leave her, but ....and I really wish she'd get the hand of the litter. I'm glad these carpets are already yuck and going. :(

I'd rather deal with a feral cat than stuff I've been faffing with today.

First a change of registrars/hosts, with DNS propagatiion lagging, I was trying to set up an old site from scratch on a new host/registrar and failing .... due to propagation lag (er, impatience). Then I needed a template. Well, seem to have found a good 'un, promises the earth.... only 268 technical options and settings - and therefore permutations and combinations thereof, so mostly leaving it alone except the occasional quick poke at something I think I understand (e.g. changed one blue line to yellow ... realised I didn't like it but couldn't find the setting again to tone it down, so lumped it for now).

Then it was ad server time. I figure it's time for a new account, rather than having this domain share the existing ad server, mainly also because the advertisers I'll be using are almost mutually exclusive. But hosted ad server's having issues and won't let me sign up for a new account.

So I popped off to another domain I own to fiddle with that, trying to get this auto-blogging working. Quite a few of the settings in there have tick boxes, but nothing in the labelling - so random tick boxes that you have no idea what they're for. Tweaked a couple of the rss feed settings too and deleted about 100 irrelevant tags (created due to my random settings beforehand). Kind of just poking that site about to see what happens until I've got to grips with the features.

And today - best day ever.... not only the largest income this year (probably ever if I look), but a full 10% or more higher than the previous biggest day this year (back in the summer). Not had time to analyse any of the traffic yet (issues with setting up analytics when I tried to change it all round last week and under-confident it's reporting everything properly but can't put my finger on it). But the bottom line is .... if I could earn this much every day I'd be saying I was loaded... which to you guys is probably about half what you all get, but it's loaded for me OK! I think it you break it down to £/hour, it's about £4/hour!! I just do lots of hours. Seriously though, it's residual, so how long I spend is irrelevant, when I walk away from it, it keeps churning out cash regardless.... for years.

    :)

Half-term and summer holidays. Do you attract a lot of kids to your site?

I think it's mums probably .... all wishing they didn't have to go back to work ever, but could simply work 10 minutes a day and become millionaires.

    :)

That's pretty much my target audience.
