Is the Dunhelm Mill version cheaper? <runs off to google Dunhelm Mill>

Sorry to hark back so, I tried to keep up with thread yesterday but lost it a bit......so much to do atm. Solicitors want £100 to do a Local Authority Search. Now surely any plans would appear on the council website in these days of the interweb..........besides, I know the area well. There is nowhere to put a nightclub/new supermarket and the roads are perfectly adequate so there would be no need to knock my house down a build a three lane highway through it.

Any thoughts on the necessity of such a search? Is there something else they do APART from looking at planning?
    I think....

You need one or two of these:

I've got two of the Dunelm Mill version of these, they are great. Never need to worry about weather again and don't take up much floorspace. For optimum drying, only hang a item on every other notch.

Also a brilliant idea for my mum....whether she is airing the clothes or ironing them!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Mine too, far worse than daughter's lovely tidy room...........:(
NO, I'd have to admit that our bedroom looks worse than a teenagers ATM. Piles of (clean) laundry I have no where to put away, surfaces so cluttered I can't see whats what ATM. The cats knocked over my bedside table last night , and I simply pushed it back up and put the radio and light back on it, leaving the couple of dozen bottles of snake oil I should be using in the fight against visual ageing back underneath.

The sheets are clean (and ironed, lol) and I hoover any clear bits of floor, but thats it ATM.

    Maybe next week:o

Yes much cheaper, £7-12 depending on whether they are on sale, but they don't always have them in stock. I did the link to Lakeland because that was the only one I could get a pic of.

I'm with jelly on this one, you are very brave.... Or your wife is very practical. I'm laying money on the former.

Sue, I find that there's much less ironing to do by taking clothes out, sticking them straight on hangers and drying. Works better on lower spin speeds though, 1200 and higher I find a bit too high as clothes are too dry by then. 900 about right.

Most of my clothes I hang on the hanger from the minute they come out of the washing machine. I double-peg the hanger on the line.

I've no idea what Dunhelm Mill is ... so had to google it.

Ah, nearest is 50 miles, so I've never seen one. And that's 50 rural miles. Nearest 3 are: 50 miles, 60 miles, 90 miles.

Even a Lakeland's 20 miles away and it's tiny. Cheaper to buy online and pay P&P than drive/park or catch the bus.
