Most people's hard times don't include suicide of a close family member. Death of a spouse/parent/child is hard enough, but suicide is extra specially devastating.

Yes have to agree with LIR. I am seeing a lot of people going down in this climate and it makes me truly unhappy.

I imagine that they do, but unless you have been in their situation, you cannot even begin to understand the pressure they have been under.

OP obviously done this as a joke, but in this case it was in bad taste. Grow up OP, and remember, you don't know what the future holds, it might be you one day, although I hope not.

The OP didn't mention hanging. I would interested to know how the subject of hanging came up.

You are making assumptions and trying your hand at prophecy.

    Neither are your forte.

We take your point and have apologised.

    But grovel honey?

    Not today.............

I`m being serious here. Whatever we get up to here, the fact is that a lot of hard working folk, through no fault of their own, are going out of business.

    OK thanks.

One of my jobs (not the teaching one) is with people who are in crisis of one kind or another, or who are trying to process the fall-out in their present lives of crises that happened a long time ago. There are two things we are taught we must never say to them. One is "I know how you feel" and the other is to imply that some completely different problem is in some way equivalent to what they are going through. Both these things are very easy to say, and lots of people say them, but the people in crisis always find them unhelpful. They generally feel misunderstood, unheard, and patronised, even though the person didn't mean anything like that and was genuinely trying to be supportive and understanding.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
