why are we being invaded tonight by humourless people?

    What did I miss?

It is all a bit complicated.

Well it usually is when Northy is involved.

It all began on the Pickles thread.................

One of ours invaded their board, and they (understandably) didn't like it. But we have all (or most of us) agreed to drop it now. For once in your life you have missed the boat, Hamish.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Sticking my head above the wall...is it safe to come out?

I've been trying to avoid study, just not in the mood, it's just reading as gobblygook right now..I blame the excitement of egg rolling.

Day has been spent doing school run, taking youngest cat to the vet as he was limping badly, doing housework, doing study, school run, shopping run, sat outside a school for blooming ages waiting for middle son to come out from band practice (he has started a new band), doing daughter duty at my parents and clearing out their laptop (got treated to a lamb stew as a reward - yummy), cooking, having my ex mother in law, bathing the kids, washing school uniform, getting them to bed and finally........relaxing.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Probably not, but I'd be interested to know why you particularly deduce that from my post about chocolate fingers.

Umm, I think it was more the fact you felt there had been a drama.

This isn't a drama in Northys life, it is a more a continual state of existence
