Just catching up after walking the fields, to remove stones before the grass grows back.
I've had a tiring day, but I'm busy thanking the Lord for Postcrete. Said product has enabled me to achieve a row of perfectly aligned bollards, all in the space of an afternoon. These have been placed at a cunning angle to prevent next door's Tesco delivery driver roaring across our newly created car parking area. Personally, I wouldn't mind that much if he did, but DW points out, logically, that they haven't contributed, so he shouldn't. I simply point out that the bollards have set us back over £50 already....
May I disagree with whoever it was who said sensible men marry women older than themselves?.... Thank you.
May I also vote against the 'Foxy Men Thread.' To me, that just sounds like blokes who haven't washed under their arms, or anywhere else, for a while. Having dug many holes this pm in 23C, it probably applies to me ATM, but I shall go off and have a shower now. :A
Oh, and is it only me that thinks that as the word 'vuvuzela' has entered our vocabulary, sex education will now be just that little bit more confusing?
Thanks Dave for highlighting that, well, i did the highlighting actually, but..oh anyway. It makes sense from the ladies perspective but not ours, from our perspective its not on im afraid. So there....:D"If you are going through Hell, keep going" - Winston Churchill0 -

Cleaver's wife is very pretty. I'm older than DH. By a month.
Chicks were ACE at going into night, really have finally go the idea about jumping up and in to the broody coop.
Littly tiny wee chick is growing now. It won't eat the chick crumb though, preferring to eat bugs, and things its mothers drop. Which is sort of ok cos the mothers guzzle the crumb.
Funny thing is, for the first time really the chooks are going in well before sunset. I wonder why ...0 -
I am an older woman ... now, where is my big queue of sensible men????0

Before this thread is replaced by a new one, I just want to show off that my dd has just achieved a BSc First-class honours degree.

igs are harder to keep ethically than people think. I would ind it very very hard to drive a pig to abattoir.
We have a land rover. Now my car has gone my back is always just a little strained and I'm guessing it was the car thats been hurting my knees0 -
