For sure. Happily we don`t have to earn a bundle. I think PN is a good demonstrator on how to live on very little. With my local now closed there is a good few bob saved there. Funny thing is, I always thought, yes great, retirement will be lovely. Our pensions, not amazing but certainly more than some, would get us through in a comfortable style but this lack of trade and being busy has taught me that I am just like my dear old Dad. Mentally not geared up to just do nothing. So looking into that.

Quite independently, Mrs. P, up for retirement in 2 years has announced that she has no intention of quitting work. Says that 61 is far to young. Btw, boy is she still a stunner. Shows what not smoking, drinking too much and staying fit does for you. Shame about her old man, lol.

You are blessed in all the important ways Pobby.

As for the rest you are the kind of man to always find his way

Hey this is such a nice thread. More like a chat room. Also it`s nice to be away from the " my willy is bigger than yours " blokey brigade.

Sorry to hear business isn't going so well, Pobby. Hope things turn out all right but glad to hear you have other possibilities if they don't.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Sorry to hear things are not going too well Pobby.

Can anyone guess my star sign then?
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
