Hot water bottles
Ok, an odd question, but does anyone have any ideas on the best brand of hot water bottles? My mother bought one recently, after her old one split, and the one she bought started leaking right off. Since I don't use them, and her old brand is long since dead, i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

She doesn't like them... too many stories of people in the 80's who were burnt by them.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I have this vision of doddery old people, clamping a partly rolled up rubber bottle against their waist, while trying to pour a heavy kettle of boiling water into the top.
(One of the old stone ones might be safer?)

I use a wheat bag instead of a hot water bottle...far safer and doesn't leak!
The handy thing with a wheat bag is you can mould it around you a lot easier than a bottle, so handy if you have arthritis or any other aches and pains. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I use hot water bottles over wheat bags, as I like the heat really hot. I just buy whatever i can find most cheaply though.0

I need advice.
I have applied for a new job and I have an interview.
I don't really do new jobs so my interview skills could best be described as rusty.
What do I wear?
How much of the real me do I let them see?
What questions do I ask to help me decide whether I want to work for them?Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
What do I wear? Go outside their office before the interview and see what the dress code is. Dress smarter because you have an interview and the others don't, but in the same vein. Will make you look as though you fit in.
How much of the real me do I let them see? As much as it takes to get the job. Try not to wear your heart on your sleeve too much though. Remember what you said about country girls being a closed lot...
What questions do I ask to help me decide whether I want to work for them? Work out what the five most important factors are in a job to you and then ask questions around them. Try and tie them into the job description and what you know about the company so that the questions fit in with the interview.
Good luck WS. What made you decide you fancied something different? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I second viva's recommendation to go and see. I have done this with and for dh and with lots of girlfriends. Sometimes they surprise you.0
