    I've been Money Tipped!
    For carolt:

Cream legbars have a little hat of feathers, like smart ladies in the fifties. My legbar chick got hers today, it looks a little like a mohican at this early stage.

The chick I call Pet, who better be a girl!, came outside with me tonight. She peeped and squeaked in my hands until she saw the big chickens when her beak dropped open. I put her in a roomy pocket and she remained head out bt big eyed and silent. On the way back in I let her have just a moment on the grass: she's little still and mustn't get too cold, but her mther would be showing her the world wel before now. She stood still, then turned to ace me, lifted her wings and peeped. The peep sounded worryingly like ''Carry!''

Meanwhile the broody who started all this business then wen off the nest, is broody again. Lord love a duck,...because he needs a change from all these baby chikens!

Nice to see you back among the Nice People. You want to be careful out there on the main board. There be wolves and things (or so I hear ).

Seriously, how do you work out peoples moral values?

What questions do you ask (in the nicest possible way) that reveal their inner !!!!?

you have neighbours don't you? Shame, you culd have saved a boy chick. :( (not my Pet, not my Pet.)

Alison is turning int a very beautiful chick. My mother, knowing who she's named after sniffed and said we'd have to change her name (the Alison she's named after is very, elegant and well coiffed, but nature has little to do with her type of ''attractive'' though I think she's sort of ..a proper woman). Her wings are cream and silver, Alison the second, and her head still blonde, she looks more and more like a glamour puss in a deeply rich fur coat.

To be honest to be anything like good looking at this stage is hard, they still have fluff, but they also have feathers. the look is generally like a teenage boy who needs a hair cut, taken out of bed and shaken.

People who you work with? I don't think you do. If a kindred spirit should turn up its a huge, huge bonus.

I think you find out about people over time. and you don't expect even the nicest person to be without flaws, because if you think some one is great perhaps they are just smarmier than the next person.

One way is by looking at those the person chooses to associate with. Tony Blair for instance was always surrounded by spin doctors, it said far more about him than the words coming from his mouth.
