Buddisim is the religion I would' do' if I was religious.
'Do as you would be done by' is my mantra. And man has it kicked us in the a $$ sometimes...cos other's don't always play by the same rules.
However, everyone who has ever wronged us in some way has had it bit them on the buttt eventually.
Buddhism is about the only religion that follows any degree of logic. The rest all fall back on the faith argument when the reasoning gets silly.
I like the idea of working for redemption. If I was sitting on the right hand of God, I'd be pushing that ideaRetail is the only therapy that works0 -
I feel incredibly blessed that he is very musically inclined...not only can he play drums and keyboard but he is also a dab hand on the guitar and a decent singer. The guitar is easy to sort out as he uses my old acoustic which is now the grand age of 33 years old (my parents bought it for me when I was a child) plus youngest has an electric guitar (3 way present between me, my parents and my brother for his birthday last week....the whole kit and caboodle for £69!)
Sue, does he read music? The reason I mentioned it is we have lots of sheet music in the library - for guitar, for piano, etc... We have good stuff too, in the last couple of months we've bought sheet music books as diverse as Alicia Keys, Lou Reed and the musical score to Twilight! Lots of music students from the local college borrow from us. I'm sure the main library near you will have something similar. Scores are expensive, so a free rental for a few weeks is good news. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? BTW Nutrisse, 1984 thinks I am you. Am I?
How can anyone know who Nutrisse is, or compare them to another? They've only posted 6 times, and from memory something like 4 of those were to report abuse. You've never struck me as a vexatious complainant fc!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Sue, I think I have a keyboard the brat got years ago in a cupboard. I am fairly sure I haven't binned it.
I will have a look tomorrow and if I think it could be of any use I will get back to you
EDIT It was about a hundred quid a few years back. I don't know if that is any use as a keyboard.
Ok thanks. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Got it in one Sue. Deffo second hand is the way to go. If you post or PM me with a few details, what you want it to do, the price you want to pay I will have a look for you.
Well, it really needs to be more piano sounding rather than electronic or have the capability to do a piano sound...apart from that, not a scoobie! (Told you my knowledge of keyboards was pants)
As for price, as cheap as possible...I think even £40-50 would be outside of my budget which would quite possibly make it very difficult to find one.We made it! Yes he can read music...more specifically drum music. The rest he listens to a song and then does it within a few goes, last couple of weeks, he saw a band mate (he has his own band now) was doing Smoke on the Water on the guitar, middle son came home and just did it straight off on my acoustic just by watching him when he was drumming. My nan had the same ability, playing by ear and I also have the capacity to predict what note is going to come next, or how the tune will pan out. Middle son also has the same ability as me to pull out (isolate) each instrument in turn from a song and concentrate on that instead of just hearing everything all together. We made it! Ok thanks.
I don't know as it will be any good, it is just something I bought in my "determined the brat wouldn't suffer cos I had left her Da phase". I think she played it once.
Still it might do a turn until you get something more up to scratchRetail is the only therapy that works0 -
well..1984 thinks I am...and the others on the list..I can't remember...was SS on there?
Really, do you give a toss what some eejit on the internet types? Most of them are people you'd, quite happily, cross entire countries to avoid.
And then there is me. Continents come to mind to avoid me half- cut:oRetail is the only therapy that works0
