I still want to know what hair is ''long'' and if people really think I sound well kempt as LJ suggested. Considering I spend most of my daily time up to the knees in mud???

Last time I got anywhere near well kempt...and near, not...there, was my weekend away....well kempt meaning I wore smart shoes and evening jewelery...I still had slightly wild hair and managed to ladder my tights...(took them off in the ladies when I realised.)

You talk about your "evening jewelry", which conjours up images of your "day jewelry", your weekend jewelry and your evening jewelry; all neatly boxed in their respective safes. Definitely groomed.

I look vulgar. I hate how I look

Most would see that as a contradiction and confusing :A

I look in the process of being groomed..i.e. wearing a mud pack. Today I wor white trousers to walk the dogs/feed the horses. OK, it was obviously the act of an idiot, but I doubt I made it to the car looking well groomed. My horse coat the bottom half of the arm the outer layer had ripped off. I won't replace it till I'm thinner ...I tried coats on had a tantrum and decided to shiver some weight of if the coat actually disintegrates. I scrub up ok, but well groomed...would be pushing it. I look like I had fun on the way to the party....not on purpose..I'm just that sort of person. I'd like to look well groomed:o

Don't take this the wrong way, it is meant as a real compliment. It is a pi key admiring her betters.

There is a certain kind of woman LIR, she wears gilets and ickle earrings. She screams class.

She hasn't had a haircut this year and she always look likes she just emerged backwards from a hedge and she looks fantastic.

You have to be born to it honey. Unfortunately you can't buy it or emulate it.

    It is effortless.

Evening as in big...flashy, (and fake). Kept in a cabinet bought for a £5 at a flea market and redecorated as inspired by the film Avatar. Lots of green glitter. And fairy lights. And stuff ranging from my most precious wedding ring, to plastic neon bangle bought as a kid. Hanging of green glittery branches. With fake birds from the Christmas tree. We were snowed in for a long time.

Before avatar cabinet was a little ''classier'' (had actually been offered a bit of money for it)but I decided I'm more magpye than classy.

LIR, you use a fountain pen and you have evening jewellery.

You are the nearest we will ever get to real class.
