Missing cat - She is Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mum said the boys next door {about 10 ish} knocked on her door last night about 10ish as they saw Mia, they tried to catch er but ran away from them down the path onto the post between their houses and into mymums house and under my dads car.

They tried to follow her to under the car then knock the door but couldnt get hold of her.

Apparently it seems like it is her but when my dad went out to look she had gone from under the car. Mum showed them the pic of her again and said yes defo it is them....they left the back door open for ages last night in the hope she would turn up but nothing, even up to now.

It seems like it is her as her jumping to the post then into mums garden is what she usually does.

But if it was her why hasnt she come?

Mum is not getting optimistic incase it wasnt her but we havent seen another cat her around before.

Has Mum emptied the hoover bag in the front and back garden? She should do it again now. If it is Mia she will come home. She will.

Mum had a phonecall from a dog warden, she has been found.
My mum didnt believe him at first, she is full up of the flu and with it being 4 weeks today! she wasn;t sure if it was true etc or if someone phoned as a joke [sick world and all that]

but they found her near to the council vans near a quarry....she has been around for 2 days and the person that found her tried to catch her yesterday but ran off, she came back today and managed to keep hold of her and they phoned the dog warden who turned up with his chip machine.

As soon as my mum got there ans saw her she cried and that set the woman off...She didnt really recognise my mum at first and only in the car made an effort to nudge my mums arm in the car.
she has been lookign aroudn the hosue now as if to remember things....one bad habit she had was licking the drips from the tap adn that was the first thing she did.

Mum thought we were gonna lose our other cat as she hasn't been eating since MIA left and Ellie is a fat cat.!!

Mia is looking rather skinny now {for a big bellied siamese that is} and purring like anything on dads lap.

Thank you all for your reassuring words, we were giving up hope.

On a slightly bad note, I drove past a cat in the gutter yesterday morning and she had the same colouring as mia but knew it wasnt her as I live about 45mins from mum. So called the council

Partner and I reckon that the council who come to collect the dead animals should carry a chip machine to put pet owners out of their misery of not knowing.

What a long four weeks it must have been for you all. SO delighted to know that your darling has been returned safe and sound. Let this be a lesson to anyone else whose pusscat goes on a wonder. THEY DO GET FOUND AND THEY DO COME HOME!
