Being sent a fake would be pretty much the worst case scenario here. I'm going to reiterate what Soolin says - try to stop them sending it. Ring them if you have to. Tell them 'if it's a fake I don't want. I will know if it's a fake - save yourself the trouble'
Failing that, it looks like Steven has posted some good advice.
Paypal are notorious for being a pain in the butt when it comes to fakes - it's just not that easy finding someone to verify.
What do you think about not recieving it in the first place?? ie letting it get sent back??
I have tried emailing and saying the item will be destroyed and they will be charged for it,see if it works.0 -
Do paypal always ask for verification of an item??0

If you do need to prove a fake I suggest you look at the forums on PurseBlog http://forums.purseblog.com where if you search, you'll find contact details of people who are able to verify fake items. Paypal seem to accept the services of these people. Particularly this thread might help. People verify other items, not just bags.0

I still have my reservations about that as I have stated earlier. If seller can show via tracking that you have refused item then they could still win a chargeback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Could the OP not message the seller advising that should they send the item a complaint may be made to the police and other relevant agencies for fraud i.e selling fake goods. Also should the seller not refund the money a complaint to the police will also be made for theft/fraud. It may make the seller think and refund asap and hopefully stop them from selling fake gear0

Hi, Just to let you all know, after many messages I have finally recieved a reply from the seller, and a refund for the bag! Seller wrote a long message saying that they shouldnt have had to refund me, and that they were being messed around by buyers etc. Trying to make me feel guilty, but it seems to me like they didnt like the thoughts of their fake handbag being seized!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Thanks to everyone for their help, the buyer has now removed the rest of their items from ebay, also.0 -
