Is it just me or does everyone experince having to jump through hoops when dealing with the above. My story is two fold first i purchase a phone which was not in stock so i told them to cancel the order and the nice man said dont worry we will not charge you the £30. What a mug i was for beliving them they took the money but assured me a refund would be forthcoming and once again i trusted them:mad: And once again no refund this has gone on and on and they now want me to provide bank statments to prove they took the money although they admit they did take it. Once again made to jump through hoops or are they brick walls mmmmmmmmm still not got my refund:(.

But like a mug i eventualey purchased not 1 but 2 mobiles from them with the promise of 1/2 price line rental which i would have to claim back for one of the phones. Put a note in my diary scanned my bill went on there website sent the bill via there online email11/1/2010 waited and waited. Sent a reminder 25/1/2010 sent another reminder 5/2/2010. Eventualy got a reply asking to send bill again which i did and the reply back sorry the bill is outside the 30 day time frame. Prove it you sent the bill on the 11/1/2010 was there response tried to explain it was sent via there website and if i had not sent it why would i chase it twice suddenly the penny dropped the wall had become the berlin wall and i was never going to get over it what a mug:(

    Hi there,

I think the best option here is email me (ben at mobiles) your order number and I can get someone from the Escalations Team to investigate. We cannot physically charge cards until gods are despatched (although the initial card check does reserve the funds, it does not remove them from your acount) and all valid claims are paid so it seems we need to look into both of these matters with your order number.

How did you submit the claim, email or via the form? Either way you should have received an immediate confirmation, if you could forward this too?

    Thanks,

    Ben,

Based upon the numerous posts on this site and as much as you sound a genuine guy i have not got the energy to continue to jump through the asssault course constructed by your organisation to stop having to pay out to customers. My order was 798182 and i am sure from this you will be able to reslove my problem if you realy wanted to. Unfortunatley i will not be holding my breath and i would advise anyone thinking of using your service to beware. There is an old saying if it sounds to good to be true it probaly isnt you get what you pay for and god i have paid for it.

Try to keep logged in and keep checking Ben's status - you will see that it is blue/grey if he is looged out and green if he is logged in.

Send him a further post when it is green, telling him you can see he is on line and ask him what the **** is going on.

I, like you, formed the impression that he was a straight up guy, but despite this and reading these posts over a few months, there seems to be no discernible improvement in his customer services department and I feel like repeating my previous comments from another thread asking just when he thinks things might improve.

Watch for that green indicator !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is not about the money it is the princiaple that they use any little loophole to try and get out of paying what they said they would and yes the small claims court is looking like getting a visit from myself once again. What these type of companys hope for is that you give up well not me dog with a bone time. Another intresting point i note from speaking to others is you never get a reply until you run out of time to claim mmmmmmmmmmm surely they do not have targets and bonuses based upon not having to pay. Any ex employees of mobiles is this the case.

    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
