DFSD's five year plan... and all it brings along the way

Yay for the cartax, that will really help you out for next year.0

Yes it definitely will YukkiB! How's the wedding plans going by the way?0

Tonight we have sorted out the stuff we had for the car boot sale and decided that we are not going to do one after all. We have a lot of books, dvds and household items which we figured we would not get a lot for as people hate parting with money at car boot sales it seems. We have decided to give most of it to the charity shop, save ourselves from a 5am start on the weekend  and hopefully a charity will be able to make some pennies on it.
The only thing we have done is to put the cds and dvds on music magpie which I have sat and done tonight - they've only made £12.30, but it's better than nothing.

Wedding plans are coming along nicely now thanks. Ordered the dress last weekend so quite excited about that. Found my shoes in the BHS sale so got those a while ago. Just saving hard to pay for it all now0

OOh, how exciting - the dress is ordered! I loved planning our wedding, it was so exciting. At least you have plenty of time to shop around for bargains too, it's amazing what you can find when you have time to look around the sales.0

I got my appointment through for our first scan yesterday... it's tomorrow. I'm terrified about the prospect of something being wrong, I really hope everything is going to be ok tomorrow and that there is a healthy baby in there. Please keep your fingers crossed for us if anyone has a spare pair!0

You'll be fine, try not to worry, though it is perfectly natural esp with your first. I'll be thinking of you x0

Thanks YB x0

Best wishes.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Thanks Chocs.
Well, I'm relieved to say that everything seemed fine on the scan, we saw the baby which was a very weird experience - it still doesn't feel like it's happening to me, it was like looking in on someone else! I found the whole experience quite stressful though - they were so scatty and disorganised at the hospital and didn't seem to give two hoots. We were left waiting round for ages and no-one really told us where to go or what to do. I find hospitals hard enough, but I came out in a really bad mood and with a stinking headache! I'm not looking forward to future visits up there!0
