Just listed a Buy It Now on ebay for £9.95, (to undercut Amazon by pennies!). Hopefully it will sell. I have two other items I can list at the weekend, but wil wait until then as the auction style listings are free for two days.0

Just completed a survey worth £3.0

Yes, I was a size 10 too not that many years ago. I am supposed to be losing weight at the moment as my doctor was making unsubtle hints that I should eat less
. I have to go back next week and I think I have lost about half a stone so hopefully that will do. I am not very good at rationing food. I am trying to get into better habits though because I do eat far too much rubbish. I keep thinking I will start eating a more "grown up" healthy diet, but soon go back to my old ways of eating junk. My friends and family have all been shocked at the recent changes I have made to my diet and that I have lasted out for a month. I hope I can keep it up
.
Good luck with Ebay. I might put a few things on this weekend. Not quite sure what yet but there must be some things amongst all the clutter that surrounds me!
I had a mixed day moneywise. Stupidly left my train ticket in a coat pocket which was at home and only realised just before I got to the station. So had to buy another one because I was already running late as ever! Was taken out for a very lovely lunch and someone else paid, so that was nice. I have also had a Monopoly-style bank error in your favour appear on my bank statement. I am waiting to see if it reverses because I think it is their error, though I am embarrassed to say that having lost track of things a bit I am not totally sure. So I could have £30 I wasn't expecting.
It has been a long, tiring week and the weekend is looking reasonably free so feeling very content tonight.
Have a fab weekend. I expect you will get some lovely phone calls and messages tomorrow.

Hi DFSD
Hope everything went well with your family and you had a relaxing weekend.
Did you have chance to put anything on Ebay? I listed 3 things, so fingers crossed they get some bids.
I have a few MSs tomorrow. Most seem to be food/supermarket related at the moment so I am eating very well and the freezer is chock-a-block! I don't think I'll need to buy much food for the next two months except fresh fruit and vegetables. I also got selected for a washing powder trial. I was expecting a small packet for two or three washes, but they sent me a 3 kilo box so it will last for ages (and seems fine so far)!
Best wishes xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Morning all
Sorry I've been AWOL for a few days - been busy, busy, busy.
Yes Chocs, it went really well thanks. Mum and Dad were over the moon (as I knew they would be), there were tears and all! They're so excited and it's given them something to look forward to so they're on cloud nine at the moment. The rest of the families are delighted too and now friends know as well. Everybody's been so lovely!
No, I didn't put anything on ebay unfortunately. When I looked, one item had a mark on it so I didn't list that one, one I decided to keep and the other I couldn't find so not very successful! I did sell a Buy it Now for £9.95 though which gave us a profit of around £6.50 after postage.I also had £3 put into paypal for a survey o have transferred those two little bits over to the bank account. Good luck with your ebay sales - hope they make you lots of pennies.
Mystery shops sound like they are proving fruitful at the moment - nice they have been practical too for things that can save you money as well as earning some at the same time.
Any news with the bank error yet? Hope it works in your favour.
We managed to have another busy weekend and got lots of little jobs done which had needed doing for a while. Hubby cleared the last of the garden/landscaping rubbish and took it to the recycling depo so we now have a clear space there. We did some gardening, lots of cooking/cleaning and other errands which we had listed to do. Hubby had to get his suit dry cleaned and managed to get it for the bargain price of £7 in a supermarket which had an offer on. It's usually nearer double that.
Tonight we're off shopping after work - I'm looking for something to wear to a friend's wedding and I'm really hoping it can do me for another two weddings coming up this year but I think I may be asking too much! I also need to pick up a couple of cheap maternity tops as I'm running out of tops to wear extremely quickly. I have a £10 voucher for ASDA and there's an Asda living near us so I'm hoping they'll have something suitable and cheap! I don't intend paying a lot for things I'm not going to be wearing long.
This morning I phoned the Sainsbury's baby club as we signed up weeks ago but never received the vouchers. The nice man I spoke to this morning credited my nectar card with £10 instead which is a nice result.
Right, off to do some work...

Hi
I hope you managed to get some nice new things to wear. I went to an ASDA 1iving a couple of weeks ago and was amazed with the range of things they had. They were lacking in many things my size, but had some great stuff, particularly kids clothes.
I got all my MS done quickly today. Which gave me time to do a bit of shopping and stop by to see a friend for coffee which was nice.
The £30 is still in my bank account - had forgotton about it with all the payments that have gone out since it has scrolled off the screen! You asked about my bonus, hmm, well it is discretionary and I won't find out until December so it is a case of wait and see. I don't think it will be great this year but anything will help towards my target. Obviously, it would be nice to spend some of it on me rather than the mortgage, so I am trying as far as possible to make the target with other money so hopefully there will be some money left for a holiday. I'm dreaming now lol, think I need to go to bed!Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Unfortunately I didn't manage to buy any clothes last night! I wasn't feeling particularly well and there really wasn't anything that I liked or was suitable - there was only one shop that had maternity clothes and it was very minimal. I did buy a few bits for the baby though in Asda living with a £10 gift card I had. Also, boots had reduced all of their baby clothes by 25% - 50%, so I picked up a few little bits there as well. I hope I haven't tempted fate by buying so early, but we'll have to buy bits now and then to be affordable.
I have, however, ordered some clothes from DP website as they have quite a large maternity range. I spent £50 + £5 P&P (standard delivery was £4 but next day was only £1 more) but found a code for £10 off a £50 spend, so came in at £45 for 5 tops. Not bad really and should keep me going for a good while! Still haven't found anything to wear for the weddings yet though.
We also had to pop to Tesco's last night and buy some medication as I was feeling rough (the joys of pregnancy eh?!). Unfortunately the only things I could take happened to be the most expensive, so together with a pizza for hubby's dinner and some shower gel, as we'd run out, we spent £16.
Glad the MS's were easy and nice you had time for coffee too Chocs. Hopefully the £30 will stay in the account too!

Hi DFSD, i am also pregnant and have a wedding coming up. I got a lovely Isabella Oliver dress on ebay for £26 and it is over £100 new on their website, it arrived a couple of days ago and it is really lovely and comfortable and something you could wear through all the stages of pregnancy. It might be worth a look as there are quite a few of these dresses for sale on ebay and are ideal for special occasions. Hope that helps, because like you i didnt want to go and spend a fortune on something i wouldnt be using in a few months:D
