  • Had a quick read of some of the War time rations challenge of £100/month for groceries and am inspired. But will try and do our groceries on £150 if possible. Will be tough, but will give it a go. Decided no booze for month of March to help keep bill down! We shall see!

Had a pretty productive day yesterday, so here we go again. Today I have:

Walked dog and 2 boys to school.
    Hung washing out on line.

  • Morning Everyone!

I'm on a study day today :j- it's a nice way of getting a lie in and pottering about pretending you're working! Anyway so far I have done/will do the following:

    - wearing my 'study socks'! (lovely big comfy, cosy pink thermal socks), slippers and dressing gown over my clothes, rather than sticking heating on. LOVE studying in comfort!!!
    - done 2 loads of washing at 30 and hung out.
    - having my homemade soup at lunchtime, rather than last year's pattern of treating myself to a subway/greggs.
    - Daily clicks done and internet banking checked.
    - Got a tutorial 7-9pm tonight. Walking to train station, taking train and then walking to Uni. Train costs £3.45 return, rather than pay £4.00 for parking and waste fuel getting to and from Uni.

Hope the antibiotics are kicking in Sarah. have a nice day everyone!
    :A2014 = my year for change!
:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore:p
