Hammy, Alex had horrendous eczema on his face and head. Ended up loosing all his hair, through me scrubbing stuff on his head.

Have you seen your HV, mine gave me an emolient called Hydromol, which was really greasey and smelled yuk, but helped put the moisture back. Oilatum and a shampoo I can't remember the name of. They helped but in the end, I had to get a prescription for Hydrocortizone cream from the doctors as it was all over his face and eylids. The steroid cream worked wonders fast.

If you haven't already i'd speak to your HV and maybe doctor as above is in no way medical advice, just my experience of baby eczema.:D

Thank you so much for your advice :A, we were prescribed oilatum by our GP but I have no qualms in going back on Tuesday if I can't see any improvement. We are mostly struggling with trying to stop David scratching his head and face :(

Small nephew update... A head oncologist has been sent the MRI to review and will be seeing him on Wednesday... Step sister is currently clinging to the hope that it's just a mistake... :( Doesn't want to talk to anyone on the phone... But she knows we're all here for her...

Krystal, I didn't want to talk to anyone on the phone either when I was diagnosed with cancer - you soon get fed up relating exactly the same story to everyone you speak to - it made me very weary.....

personally the only new baby clothes that Finn has worn are either gifts or the £2 pack of vests we bought in Primani the other week :p. That reminds me, today's mission is to find & win a big bundle of 3-6 clothes and some medium-sized nappy wraps. He's getting so big! *sniff*

Consequently, am happy to re-fairy most of the lurvely 0-3 boys clothes that hammyhunter graciously fairy-ed me. I'll pop an ad up shortly...(I need to scold the fairies as they've neglected to send out smartie's vouchers, oops :o)

Aless, David is still in 3-6 but we have way, way, way too much. I can easily send the fairies your way...... what in particular do you need or do you fancy a surprise variety?
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents ;):o:D
  • Hiya, can someone please tell me about the fairies thing?

I'm from over on the preggie thread but i have some of DD's baby girl stuff that i have no more use for...unless i get a huge surprise and the boy in my tum turns out to be a girl, lol :D

Mel - I think the difference in ages is what did it, I doubt your boys would be impressed by the country walks and petting farm stuff that Chris loved :)

    Possibly:)
    Afternoon everyone,
Mel - your 10 minutes from my house at Oulton Park!! Hope you can make it on the 7th.

I will try, but realised I can't even phone until tuesday as it is bank holiday weekend!! Hopefully they can squeeze me in the following week if not I won't be able to make it as my appt is at 11.40...

Back from Gullivers world and great fun was had by everyone:D We are all shattered now hehe.

Oh I forgot to say yesterday, Kai has his other top tooth through (makes 4 now:D)and two on the bottom are starting to bulge in his gums.
