MSE Parents Club Part 11

Henry slept 7-6 last night! His longest ever, although he didn't go back to sleep at 6!

He's now laid sparko on my lap with his breakfast of avocado and banana in his hair.

Off out to lunch with the ladies today. Need to find something SW friendly on the menu. Hope H is his usual charming self.

A is being a right whinger now! I know he's tired but 2 mins after i put him down in his moses basket he woke up and cried..... Right put him down again so fingers crossed he stays asleep this time!

Yes it was me. She struggled with proper ice boots but managed with bob skates. I think Buttons took Kiera too.

Charlotte is over the moon because I bought her a bunch of daffodils yesterday and they were just buds but some have opened this morning. She didn't want choccy eggs for Easter - just a bunch of daffodils! Still bought her some eggs anyway, but we don't give them out till Sunday.

Boogery hell. We're attempting to wrangle Molly out of our bed and into the crib and she is Not Impressed. Every time she gets in there involves 30-40 minutes of angry shrieking. I gave up at 1:40am after she woke and was hungry and brought her in with us, I just couldn't handle it any more.

OH, who mostly just complained about the noise last night, is still sleeping while I've got her up, fed her and entertained her. Dressing will follow shortly as soon as I am outside my cup of tea.

Morning! im exhausted, we watched a film with the girls last night and then by the time i had wrapped the ebay items i dont even know what the time was? Charlie has been up since 7 so cant complain as thats the most he has slept in week! glad to see some of the babies also slept last night

just going to grab something to eat and its a trip to the recycling bank and post office!

Sorry, I am flagrantly ignoring everyone because I am tired and peeved. Sorry

I love the idea of Blackpool, but actually going there always reminds me that it is tacky and grubby and kind of horrible. But I still like the excitement of going there, IYKWIM? Actually, I have a bit of a yearning to stay in that restored 1930s hotel in Morecambe. Maybe next time we're in the northern bits of the UK we can do that...

Ice skating sounds super cool, enjoy it and be careful of your fingers!

Becles, I love that Charlotte likes the flowers more than the chocolate. Does she understand planting bulbs and stuff like that? Is it too late in the year now?

Well done H on that looooong sleep! I hadn't thought of giving the monster avocado, although the ones we get here are always tiny and rock hard _pale_

Enjoy your holiday SB, it sounds nice. I'm not a caravan person, but my parents and brother love it. I always need somewhere to escape, you know? It feels like being at home, only smaller, to me and I tend to get claustrophobic.

:rotfl: pigpen. Our deceased cat was also a deformed Persian. He had the messed up face, only had one eye and had hip dysplasia so limped appallingly. When God made him he was clearly only joking.

I'm glad it was a good night out elle. Mummies need nights out sometimes.

SS - eek at the 30-40 min of shreiking I thought 10 to 15 min was bad enough and tahlie isnt even really that loud!

SJ - thats fab that you and OH hhave agreed a date to try for no2 crazy as it sounds me and OH will be trying straight off, as it took 6+ years and IVF for T then it'll be pretty amazing if it happens so fast, tho knowing the laws of both sod and murphy will probably fall pretty quick!

Well altho we had a mare of an afternoon and the boobages are still achey and hurt like hell when I feed, and it took till 1.30 to get T down, she slept thru till 6.14 Then changed and fed her and popped her in bed with me and OH for another hour and 40 min She seems to like mornings in bed with her Mum, OH said I shouldnt do it but I sleep her by my head and I lay at the edge of my pillow with my arm around her so she cant wriggle down or roll. besides its not like she wont sleep in her cot!

oh it is lovely round there! Britains best butcher and Rick Steins food hero's bakery, cartmel sticky toffee pudding - nommy
was a bit of a trek to the zoo and windamere but nothing major

I took Chris with my sis and her OH but it was a saturday, really busy Chris hated it because it was noisy and so many people, there was no way to really teach him so they just kinda dragged him round a few times


crap night here, bloody Edgar screaming for 1.5hrs somewhere between 3 and 5, OH and I tag teamed but no sleep was had between shifts
