Kindof that's great about the lakes - I love it up there. Grr to your OH. Have you mentioned to him that maybe he should spend his paternity leave with his new baby?

DH has just been to the shop and brought me back a bag of Haribo to make up for forgetting to order my rice from the chinese we just had.

Som sorry you are feeling low today. Hope you can manage to feed ok from the other side.

Can't remember who was asking but yes you can top up milk in the fridge, it has to be used within however long from when you put the first lot in. I'm just about to top up a pot from earlier myself!

SS sounds like a messy few minutes in your house!

    Hi all
I did make a loooong post earlier but it disAPPEARD!
    How is everyone?
I'm doing ok, things are hard but there is not alot I can do about it the now.
I finally have my housing appointment to make my homeless application, it's on the 14th so going down there on the 11th to stay in a hotel for 3 nights and meet up with one of me besties who just moved downn that way.
Plus I don't want my little bubba to spend his 1st birthday in this crap hole, I know he wont remeber it but I will.

The eldest is having a tough time of it, school have reffered him to CAMHS, I think it was someone on here that has recently had dealing with them, I cant remeber the username right now, but it;s charlottes mummy from up newcastle way, ahh becles lol god I had right memory loss there! anyway, how did you find them?

Havent got any court dates until may now, which i'm dreading cos now I have to do the statement thing so they can decide if I'm telling the truth!
Like I've not been through enough already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ex is making things extremely difficult even accusing my little old mum of being a bloody class a drug dealer! SS seem to be seeing right through him though!

I'm just trying to focus on the housing appointment, I'll get a decision that day and then I can plan for my eventual resetllement from this hell hole!

I need to ask some advice on switching to cows milk, now the babe is almost 1 it's been on my mind, he only has bottles at night time now, so once he's 1 I want to switch him over, how do I go about it? gradually or just do a switch? god anyone would think I've not had a child before!:o
  • DKAM - just give him a bottle of moo milk and see if he likes it!!! (Full fat)

If he does, just switch (Benjamin doesn't seem to know any difference lol) and if he is unsure then try to hatch some kind of plan to phase it in.

Good luck with the housing and stay strong xx

Can't believe some of you are talking about going to blackpool - it's a sh!thole, only reason I ever go there is to get on a plane:p

Kindof - we went to grange over sands in the lakes last oct and it was lovely, only rained one 1 day so pretty lucky for autumn too! Can't wait to do it again when Ed is old enough to enjoy it too!

TBH I would try him with 1 bottle before your tokens run out - some people talk of having to milk cows milk and formula for a while to get them used to it

At least if you have tried him once then you will know if it will be a problem or not.
