I soak our nappies (including pooey ones) in the nappy pail which is just water and drops of tea tree oil. The poo comes out even in normal wash with normal (bio) detergent. If it's REALLY pooey, then I'll do a prewash. But I don't have any Vanishtop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Will be a deserted mother of two at the weekend. OH off to Manchester early on Saturday. Man U v Chelsea and then some Boxing at MEN, with lots of alcohol in between and then repeat on Sunday, without the sport. Am not bothered as have had plenty of warning as long as he doesn't come in on Sunday night bladdered with two days worth of alcohol. Have told him to stay at his mates and return to us in a fit state for family time on Monday. Leaves me with time to catch up on my multiple sky + programs and New Moon on DVD, that I have not yet seen. Once the boys are asleep.
Got my repaired car back on Tuesday, and my bank account is most definately feeling the strain of the excess payment leaving it. So have listed remaining maternity items on ebay to try and raise some cash. Will have to fleece some cash off OH before Saturday, so not all his money gets peed up a wall.
Joe is back tomorrow from his 4 day mini break in rainy Wales, he has loved it, don't think he has missed us at all - except for may be Alex. The house has been so quite without him bounding around. He will no doubt make up for it on at the weekend and do my head in, just as well he has a long party on Sunday to keep him occupied.
Just over an hour left and its home-time and four day off :j0 -
I wipe off any excess and wash with biological. Keep it wet, when you let it dry it tends to stain. And if it comes out still a bit stained, hang it out to dry in the sun which usually gets rid of the stains.
That works for urine, faeces and vomit (it's how I wash Christopher's messed sheets).0 -
I just used to put them in the washing... Although I find with a nappy wrap on I never got clothes with poopies on... Unless hubby changed her obviously... :rolleyes:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... What do others do with clothes covered in poo? I usually try to wipe off the poo with wipes then pre-wash with a vanish stick then put in the washing machine. Does anyone have a better way? Already onto 5th pooy nappy of the day although if you counted this morning mega poopsplosion it's more like 8thAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Ive just shouted at OH now I feel guilty, he came in cos I was cooking noodles and elliot was crying, and he took his babygro off and put him in his moses basket in just his vest, with one sheet half over him cos he htought he looked hot (turns out he was cos he has now been asleep for 15 mins)
But I was getting stressed in the kitchen cos all that normally happens (well has been happening today was that Elliot would wake up again 5 mins later) and Id have to deal with him cos OH would be back outside
So I snapped at him saying I was sick of him sitting in the !!!!ing shed painting when I have been inside dealing with a stressed/hungry/growing baby since 7am!
I mean he is off on paternity to help me for the start and he has spent the last three days in the shed painting (and building his remote control truck thing)
But now I feel guilty for snapping at himDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

More tantrums from Rhys before his afternoon nap. Did the same again, but left him in his cot for five minutes then gave him the teething powder. He moved at the last minute so got it all over his face. When I lifted him out to rock him a bit more we stood in front of the mirror.. he looked straight into the mirror and laughed at his own reflection :rotfl: Then loomed in on his reflection, mouth wide open for kisses, too funny0

WM - I always tell my hubby to stay out when he has been out with the lads. He is out tonight and TBH I would rather not have to deal with him drunk and all lovey dovey :rotfl:
Today my lovely husband has sold a machine that he imported from the states about 18 months ago. It is a millstone from around his company's neck and I am so relieved for him I don't know what to do!! He has been close to folding his company a couple of times recently but now he should be able to battle his way through the end of the recession (fingers crossed).
He looked at me like I had gone mad last night when I suggested that he go out with his mates to celebrate but I really feel he deserves to kick back and relax for the night. I will have my own little celebration at home for him.

You shouldn't feel guilty K, he should! Does he not realise you just had a baby and need to rest a bit... These first 6-8 weeks are most definitely the hardest... He can do as much painting as he likes once the baby is settled but until then, he should be helping you! (and cooking the tea!!)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
